Thrived during second half of last year, quickening up best when cosily making it 3 wins from 4 starts over C&D in December. Continued on the up when third at Newcastle (1m) last month and has to be taken seriously again.

Seemingly finding his feet on his first 2 starts of the year and was right to back to his best when winning an 8-runner handicap at Lingfield (1¼m, all-weather) 18 days ago. Shouldn't have too much of an issue with the drop back to 1m and is respected.

Two-time C&D winner but operating a shade below his best at present, making only late gains when fifth of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW) 46 days ago. Now below last winning mark.

Winner of a C&D novice on second start back in 2022 for Roger Varian. Off more than 3 years prior to finishing down the field in a C&D handicap for Gordon Treacy in December and is very hard to fancy after another stable switch.

Fairly useful filly who needed only minor progress when off the mark in 13-runner maiden in January. Ran respectably from this mark when third in another C&D event on handicap debut last month.

Remains a maiden but made the frame on 4 of his last 5 starts in 2025, looking suited by the step up in trip when fourth of 9 in handicap (6/1) at Wolverhampton (8.6f) in November. Absent since but he's still low mileage around this trip and has Marquand booked.

C&D winner on penultimate outing of 2025 and shaped well until the lack of a recent outing seemed to tell when third in another C&D event 4 weeks ago. Does have wide draw to overcome, though.

Runner-up on his last 4 starts in handicaps, most recently when conceding first run in an 8-runner event at Chelmsford City (7f) 20 days ago. Hard to knock his overall profile but might find things harder going back up in trip from wide draw.

Capitalised on a falling mark here (7f) in January but tailed off next 2 outings. Bit more encouragement when sixth of 8 at Wolverhampton in a race that wasn't run to suit last time. Others still preferred, though.

On lengthy losing run but was unlucky not to snap that when second of 12 over this C&D in December, carried right by loose horse near line. Not in same form from 5 lb higher mark at Wolverhampton next time. Back down another 2 lb now.

Showed improved form to get off the mark dropped into 0-65 company for the first time when winning a 10-runner C&D handicap in November. Benefited from a handy position there and will need to take another step forward to follow up in this better company.

He makes most appeal, with recent Lingfield scorer Sea Founder perhaps the biggest threat dropping back down in trip. Atmosphere is also considered despite a disadvantageous draw.
