Won maiden at Chelmsford and minor event over C&D in February but failed to keep that momentum going when stepping into handicap company for the first time at Southwell 8 days ago. First-time cheekpieces applied.

Off the mark in a novice event at Wolverhampton over 5f in February but finished last of 8 when upped to 6f at Southwell on handicap debut last month. Had excuses that day, slowly into stride and badly hampered over 1f out and it remains early days with him.

Gelded prior to registering back-to-back nursery wins over C&D in December. Shaped well on first 2 starts this year, including when left poorly placed when fifth at this venue in February. Disappointing last time but return to this track will suit and well drawn in stall 3. Player.

Won maiden at Wolverhampton in January and handicap at Kempton in March. Chased home better-positioned rival back at Wolverhampton (5f) 17 days ago and return to 6f looks sure to suit with good-value claimer on for first time. Does need to cut out the slow starts, however.

Headstrong sort who got off the mark in a 7f maiden at this track in February but then disappointed when last of 5 under a penalty at Southwell just 4 days later. A career best needed to figure here.

Won twice before chasing home Lord Harcourt twice over C&D (beaten ½ length on second occasion) in December. Better for the run when down the field on debut for current yard and 4 lb better off with Lord Harcourt this time around for all his draw makes things tricky.

Won 4 times in January and February and had a couple of these behind when second over C&D in February. Not so good when harried in front back at Southwell since, however, and will need to be better than he's ever been to dominate this field.

Highlighted his current wellbeing when winning a 7f handicap at this track 7 days ago. Though that race could hardly have panned out any better for him and must defy a 6-lb penalty from a wide draw in a much stronger race here.

Off the mark in 5f Wolverhampton nursery in December and shaped better than the bare result when third at same track/trip last time, left poorly placed but keeping on well final 1f. One to be interested in.

A 3-time winner, who highlighted his effective at this track when scoring over C&D in February then again when staying on to win narrowly over 5f here 7 days ago. This represents a much tougher task, though. Carries 6-lb penalty.
