Winner of this race 12 months ago who proved as good as ever when successful at Newcastle in January. He was seen to maximum effect on that occasion, though, and has struggled off this mark at Southwell subsequently.

Three-time winner struggled to get involved in first-time blinkers at Southwell on latest start and while useful on a going day, he's less reliable than stablemate Talis Evolvere.

Generally a solid proposition on the all-weather (winner of Championships mile in 2024) and having gone close in a similar grade at Newcastle last time, he should give another good account.

Winner 4 times last year, including twice here, and he bounced straight back to form when third of 12 at Southwell latest. That performance can be marked up and he is handily drawn for one with his style.

Reliable sort is gradually coming back down the weights having won 3 times last year, returning to form despite a less-than-ideal position at Wolverhampton latest. Makes appeal with good-value claimer (aboard for 2 of her victories) returning.

Left with plenty to do when second in this race off 2 lb higher mark last year and showed his versatility when second under front-running ride at Deauville in January. Appeared to still be in good form when denied a clear run at Chantilly last time, and he has to be high on the shortlist.

Fairly useful sort was better placed than most when fourth in 12-runner handicap at Wolverhampton latest, though is unlikely to find circumstances as favourable here.

Shaped better than the beaten distance (just under 4 lengths) in a race set up for the closers at Newcastle 7 days ago, but plenty of pace on again and faces no easy task off an unchanged mark.

Posted a career-best effort when runner-up at Southwell on second start for new yard and while not quite in the same form at Wolverhampton last time, he could pick up some pieces if ridden with some restraint from stall 1.

Invincible Army gelding has his own way of going about things, but he was clearly still in fine heart when finishing with running left at Wolverhampton (7f) last time, and shapes as though 1m could suit. Looks interesting.

Well-bred son of Siyouni did well to finish as close as he did when fifth of 11 on handicap debut at Dundalk last time (looked a hard ride) and will probably find this too competitive at this stage of his career.

Consistent sort has reaped the rewards of a switch to positive tactics, following up his C&D victory at Wolverhampton last time. Pace set-up looks less favourable here, however, and the hat-trick is likely to prove beyond him.

UNASSUMING will need some luck in running from stall 11, but the forecast strong pace should help in that regard, and she's taken to enhance a fine record under her promising apprentice. Tactically-versatile Sous La Neige was probably unfortunate not to win this race 12 months ago and looks capable of going close if this plays out more favourably, with Talis Evolvere another to consider given his fine all-weather record.
