Successful 4 times last year, including over C&D. Better than ever when back to winning ways in 6f Thirsk handicap last week, scoring by 4 lengths. Another bold bid likely under a 5 lb penalty.
Resumed winning ways in 10-runner Wolverhampton handicap (7f) in March. Only nudged up 2 lb for that and he's won off higher marks before. Respected under Buick.
Fairly useful winner up to 1m in Ireland for Kevin Prendergast. Should be sharper for a reappearance run on Newcastle's AW for new yard a fortnight ago but a widish draw could make life awkward.
Just a maiden win to her name but she did post some solid efforts in handicaps last year, including a second over C&D off this mark. Should be competitive if ready to roll after 7 months off.
Creditable third on 7f Musselburgh reappearance. Caught too far back after tardy start and shaped as if still in form when fifth of 12 there a fortnight ago.
Ended his time with Clive Cox with a bit of a whimper but made a respectable retuurn for his new stable when fifth of 12 to Gorak in handicap at Doncaster (7f, heavy) 47 days ago. Claims if he can build on that.
Gained a fourth AW win since December when seeing off 11 rivals at Newcastle (7f) in March. Just as effective on turf and ought to remain competitive after a 3 lb rise.
Snapped a long losing run in 4-runner Chelmsford handicap (7f) on reappearance 15 days ago. Hardly has the profile of one likely to follow up in this much deeper race but he does have the services of Oisin Murphy.
Two 6f wins for Julie Camacho last year. Steps up to 7f on return for new stable. Nicely drawn but a watching brief is the percentage call unless the betting suggests otherwise.
Didn't kick on in a light 3-y-o campaign but 2023 looks like being much productive based on his 1m Chelmsford reappearance success 22 days ago. Less exposed than a lot of these and high on the shortlist from a handy low draw.
Progressive at 4 but didn't build on a good reappearance run in just 4 outings last season. Has left David & Nicole Barron ahead of this first outing for 7 months. Probably best to look elsewhere.
Fourteen runs since last win in 2020. 50/1, respectable 3 lengths sixth of 10 to Titan Rock in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) on reappearance in March, left poorly placed. Stall 19 not ideal.
Pretty useful 6f performer at his best. Respectable second of 8 in handicap at Ripon (heavy) 7 days ago. This is his first outing over 7f since finishing eighth in this race 2 years ago.
Ex-Scandinavian gelding who hasn't beaten a rival in 2 outings since coming to Britain. First-time cheekpieces need to make a big difference.
Course winner. 9/1, seventh of 8 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, soft) on reappearance 20 days ago. Others more obvious.
Scored over 7f at Newmarket last June but in and out after and he beat only a couple home on his 6f Newbury reappearance. This trip more suitable but still best to look elsewhere from the outside stall.
Three wins from 18 runs last year. 40/1, below form fifth of 13 in handicap at Thirsk (6f, heavy) 13 days ago. Drawn wide. Others preferred.
Second start for this yard when scoring at Wolverhampton (7f) in November. 11/2, bit below form fourth of 10 in handicap at Catterick (7f, soft) on reappearance 23 days ago but he could strip fitter with the outing behind him.
Three 7f Southwell wins since last autumn and has remained in form on AW since. Just as effective on the grass.
Course winner. Fifteen runs since last win in 2021. 12/1, below form eighth of 15 in handicap at Ripon (6f, soft) 29 days ago.

IT JUST TAKES TIME just keeps on getting better and looks well treated under a penalty for last week's ready Thirsk success. The chief threat may come from fellow-last-time out scorers Tiempo Star and Titan Rock, the mount of William Buick.
