Fitted with cheekpieces, got back to the form he had shown on debut when runner-up in a Wolverhampton maiden (6f) in September. Soon left behind a lesser effort when third of 12 in similar event at Brighton (7f) 18 days ago, Quai Louis 2¾ lengths ahead in second.
Much improved from debut when runner-up in 5f maiden at Wolverhampton on first outing last month. Wasn't able to build on that effort back up in trip, though, when fifth of 8 at the same course (6f) 20 days ago.
Showed more than on debut when fifth of 11 in maiden at Southwell 25 days ago, though still looked very green. Looks to be one for further down the line.
Shaped much better than the result after a very slow start in a Leicester novice (7f) on debut. Built on that promise at the second attempt when second of 12 in maiden at Brighton 18 days ago and he arrives with his yard in top form. Makes plenty of appeal in this contest.
Showed the benefit of his first run when second in maiden at Ffos Las (6f) in September. Raced too freely upped to 7f when eighth of 12 at Brighton 18 days ago, so he could bounce back returned to this shorter trip.
Has shown promise when making the frame both starts, racing keenly when 2 lengths fourth of 11 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7f) 6 weeks ago. Drops in trip and he enter calculations with tongue strap added.
Foaled February 9. Territories gelding. Half-brother to 6f-1m winner abroad Rationale. Dam 2-y-o 1¼m winner out of smart 2-y-o 6f winner (stayed 1m) Sander Camillo. May just be better for this first outing, yard 0-8 with 2-y-o newcomers this season.
Has shaped as if he could still have more to offer in a trio of maidens so far, too free when third of 5 in maiden at Brighton in May. Off 5 months since, but the potential for a strongly-run race here promises to suit.
Foaled March 15. €21,000 yearling, 4,000 gns 2-y-o, Harry Angel filly. Dam 1m winner. Has a fair standard to aim at making her first start.
Was fractious in the preliminaries and offered little on debut when seventh of 8 in novice at Nottingham last month. Will need to leave that first effort well behind.
Fair form when placing 4 times in maiden/novice events at up to 7f. Again ran respectably when 3¾ lengths seventh of 14 on nursery debut at Leicester (6f) last time and she could be in the mix back in maiden company.
Foaled March 23. Caturra filly. Half-sister to several winners, including 10.7f winner Harbour Beacon and 7f winner Like No Other. Yard not known for winning 2-y-o debutants.
Forecasts
Quai Louis (9/4), Reichenbach Falls (10/3), Rocsane (5/1), Reece's Call (15/2), Anna Belardo (10/1), Terry O (10/1), Cosmocrat (14/1), Denver Sluice (20/1), Hell Of An Angel (20/1), Terroir (20/1), Sassaturra (33/1), Hosta (100/1)
This can go the way of QUAI LOUIS who showed improved form on his third start when runner-up in a Brighton maiden last month. He is taken to go one better with his yard amongst the winners, at the chief expense of Reichenbach Falls who has shaped encouragingly in his 2 outings so far. Rocsane completes the shortlist.
