Turf Services Handicap

Improved when winning in the mud at Nottingham (1¼m) and Musselburgh (12.5f) last autumn. Hasn't found the same form in her 4 outings this year but that could change now back on going softer than good.

All 4 career victories at Wolverhampton, the latest over 1½m last summer. Largely creditable efforts in defeat this year, including third of 12 at Bath (1¾m, good to soft) 12 days ago. Likely to be on the premises again.

Reliable and consistent in 2025 but it's the opposite this year, winning at Beverley (2m, heavy) in August but failed to beat a rival in his 4 other starts. including at York 19 days ago. Blinkers go back on in place of cheekpieces.

Has drawn a blank since her 2m course success in August 2024 but has run several solid efforts in defeat in that time frame, including when placed on last 4 starts.

Seems much better on all-weather than turf. winning twice at Southwell and once at Kempton since the end of 2025. Shaped as if still in form when fifth of 12 at Kempton (1½m) 44 days ago but others are preferred back on the grass.

Fifteen runs since last win in 2023. Beaten 7 lengths when fourth of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (2m, all-weather) 38 days ago. Cheekpieces on first time.

Course winner. Four wins from 13 runs this year, the latest at Beverley (1½m) in July. 9/1, seventh of 11 in handicap at Southwell (11f) 50 days ago. Up in trip.

Winless since completing a Flat hat-trick in May 2024. Below-form fourth over hurdles at Fontwell 4 weeks ago and others arrive with more pressing claims.

Maiden who was sold cheaply from Henry de Bromhead's stable after hurdle debut in July but has run a couple of respectable races back on the Flat for new yard, including third over this trip at Catterick last time.

Wide-margin winner at Leicester (1½m) in July. Struggled on next 2 starts but back on the up with Wolverhampton win (1½m again) 24 days ago. Stamina isn't assured now stepping up in trip.

Still looking for a breakthrough success but made a creditable return from 4 months off when second of 6 over 11.6f at Bath 23 days ago, although she did wander around under pressure.

Bred to stay well and has displayed some ability in 4 outings, conceding first run to the winner when second of 4 on handicap debut at Leicester over 1½m in July. Couldn't live with a very well-treated rival when stepped up to 2m at Nottingham since but still rates one of more likely types here.

Little show in 3 qualifying runs at up to 11f but more chance now handicapping. Up in trip (stamina in pedigree). Check the betting.

Hasn't obviously been shaping as if he's likely to snap a long losing run but the fact he's a 3-time C&D winner, including this race in 2020 and 2023, makes him a dangerous one to discount.
