Refitted with blinkers and took advantage of a career-low mark to score at Wolverhampton (5f) 12 days ago by neck from Henery Hawk. Needs the headgear to work again on the back of a 4 lb rise.
Veteran who built on a couple of creditable efforts to open his account for the season in 8-runner C&D handicap 11 days ago. Had a few of these behind then and should go well again on the back of a small rise.
Fitted with cheekpieces when getting off the mark at Lingfield in May and returned to a similar level when making all at Chepstow (6f) last month. Proved very easy to back but ran creditably in defeat here last time. Remains to be seen if the drop back to 5f is beneficial.
Back on the up when third of 9 in handicap at this course (5.7f, good to firm) 11 days ago. Visor replaces cheekpieces and the handicapper has dropped him a further 1 lb.
Little encouragement on debut for James Tate on sole juvenile outing and has yet to better just modest form in 4 outings for current yard this year. Cheekpieces go on.
10/3, took step back in right direction when 1¼ lengths third of 6 to gambled-on Macarone in classified stakes at Ffos Las (6f, good to firm) 17 days ago. Cheekpieces go back on. Others more persuasive on balance back in a handicap.
Sole win came at this course in 2024. Has finished runner-up on 3 of last 5 starts, all having been in classified company. Sold from Daniel & Claire Kubler for 2,400 gns last month and joined an eye-catching yard. Interesting down in trip.
Confirmed previous promise for this trainer when winning classified event here in July by nose from Symbol of Hope, overcoming trouble. Hasn't had much luck in-running both starts since, and the draw here hasn't been kind, though certainly isn't one to discount on pick of this season's efforts.
C&D winner whose latest success came at Lingfield in March. Shaped as if in need of the run after 10 weeks off over this C&D 11 days ago. Can bounce back if this doesn't come too soon.
Long time without a victory but was only just denied by Jackie Brown in classified stakes here in July. Quickly back on track when 1½ lengths third of 8 to Recon Mission over C&D 11 days ago. Place claims.
Sole win came in May 2024. Failed to come on for reappearance at Lingfield last time. Hard to make a case for.
Maiden of little account these days.
Has made a limited impact in 4 starts to date, first 2 for Daniel & Claire Kubler on the all-weather last year, though is best not judged on handicap debut last time. Needs to take a big step forward to feature.

Forecasts
Outer Edge (7/2), Macanudo (9/2), Recon Mission (5/1), Symbol of Hope (13/2), Spirited Dancer (15/2), Jackie Brown (15/2), Ken Brulee (9/1), Wedgewood (10/1), Ten Cuidado (18/1), Princess Of Limnos (40/1), It's A Mugs Game (40/1), Lochaber (40/1), Bluesy Moon (125/1)
A chance is taken on SPIRITED DANCER who has gone close on several occasions already this year and has made an interesting stable switch. Last-time-out winner Recon Mission should be thereabouts again, while Jackie Brown is another to consider despite a wide draw.
