Successful 4 times on the all-weather last season. Suited by strong pace when unlucky not to finish second in an ultra-competitive affair at Epsom before finding his run of good form coming to a halt at Newmarket. Could be worth another chance dropped markedly in grade, though.
Ex-Richard Hannon gelding who has been shaping up well in defeat for his new yard this season, including when third in a better handicap here. Easy to put a line through latest outing (denied clear run) and he's interesting returning to 1m for the first time in a while.
Made all when game winner over C&D off 2 lb higher mark last autumn. Finished well-backed fourth behind a trio of better-positioned rivals on his Newmarket reappearance, but he ran no sort of race at Carlisle 4 weeks ago.
Only beaten 2¼ lengths in solid course handicap (9f) earlier in the season. Travelled well when snapping long losing run at Redcar (1¼m) latest. Strongly-run 1m in big-field should suit his style, but no easy task at weights under penalty in deeper race.
Consistent sort who was successful at Southwell/Newmarket last summer. Has made a bright start for emerging yard, faring best of those held up when 1½ lengths fourth in big-field Ascot handicap latest. This test should play to his strengths, for all he's up against better opposition this time.
Likeable type who won 6 times during a remarkable 2025. Arrives in good form following pair of close seconds, latterly behind a less-exposed type at his beloved Ayr. Expected to give his running from a handy draw, for all this a deeper race.
Without a win since October 2024. Best effort for current yard came when third behind a couple of next-time-out winners at Lingfield in April. Below that form in trio of subsequent starts. Hard to be confident she can capitalise on falling mark, even with Kieran Shoemark taking over.
Had been shaping up quite well prior to a smooth success in 7-runner handicap at Redcar (1m) 6 days ago. That was comfortably his best effort of the season, and he looks capable of defying a penalty in a race that could set up perfectly.
Likeable mare who is better known for her exploits on the all-weather. May have still needed the outing when beaten 3 lengths in a similarly competitive event at Ascot (7f) last time. Should find this run to suit and wouldn't be a surprise if she sneaks into the frame.
Unexposed 4-y-o who won 6f all-weather maiden last November. Finished fourth in competitive 7f course handicap in May. Has hit trouble in running both starts, latterly when well-backed on first try over 1m at Newcastle. Should be in the mix with a clearer run.
Free-going sort who completed a double at Newcastle last autumn. Started better than is often the case when 4¾ lengths third behind Rajapour at Redcar 6 days ago. Still looks too high in the weights from unchanged mark.
Relatively lightly-raced 4-y-o ran up to his best when close third at Hamilton (9f) last month. Unsuited by the run of the race/marked step up in trip here (1¾m), but he'll need a career best to double his tally back down in distance.
Snapped a losing run when narrow winner at Musselburgh (1m) prior to running at least as well in defeat when ¾-length second at Ripon last time. Step back up in grade may just find him out.
Has been running consistently well in handicaps, chasing home a pair who had the run of things at Thirsk latest. Should find the pace setup more favourable this time, though he isn't the easiest to win with and David Allan looks elsewhere.
Travelled well when narrowly opening her account for the season at Redcar in May. Bounced back to run as well as she has on the figures when close third at Doncaster last time. Should at least hold her own in better company.

RAJAPOUR got off the mark for the season in smooth fashion at Redcar last week and looks capable of following up under a penalty. Son has made a bright start for his current yard and is feared most, with Montezin and Final Night others to consider in typically competitive York handicap.
