Responded well to blinkers when doubling his tally at Newbury (7f) last August. Good second on final start for Peter Chapple-Hyam a month later but not scaled same heights in 2 runs for new yard this spring. Returns from a break with a tongue strap added and he's one to monitor in the betting.

Three-time winner in 2024 (including over C&D) who has been knocking firmly on the door of late, neck second of 13 in handicap at Doncaster (7f) 18 days ago. Rates a major player again with promising young rider taking off a handy 5 lb.
Posted his best effort yet when landing a 5-runner handicap at Chelmsford (7f) last summer for David Simcock. Hasn't yet scaled same heights in handful of starts for new yard this year but this step back up in trip promises to see him in a better light. Cheekpieces on 1st time.

Winless since 2023 and he again finished well held when last of 7 in handicap (40/1) at Sandown (8f, good to firm) 12 days ago. Hard to warm to despite tumbling mark.
Progressive form in novice company with two runner-up finishes from three starts. Off 5 months/gelded, improved again when third of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 40 days ago, well positioned. Entitled to come on for that and he enters calculations.
Calyx gelding who built on his debut effort when finishing a good third in a Nottingham maiden (8.3f) in June. Couldn't replicate that when down the field at Ffos Las (7.3f) since but previous promise shouldn't be forgotten now handicapping.
Veteran who is typically an all-weather performer but holding his form well on turf of late, not disgraced when fourth of 6 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, good, 8/1) 46 days ago. However, looks to have plenty on his plate here in what is a much stronger affair.
Maiden who has been fairly consistent since switched to handicaps, good second at Lingfield (7.6f) in May. Weakened out of things when fifth of 7 in handicap at Brighton (1m) 37 days ago though, and return to this shorter trip can likely see him bounce back.

Forecasts
Daring Legend (6/4), Stardancer (9/4), Noble Guest (6/1), North View (15/2), Ararat (12/1), Outlandish (25/1), Harbour Vision (33/1), Gunfighter (40/1)
DARING LEGEND has knocked firmly on the door in recent months, again finding only one too good at Doncaster 18 days ago. He rates a serious player once more with his rider (who has gone close on him in that time) taking off a very handy 5 lb. Clive Cox's 3-y-o Stardancer is a big threat following his very good handicap debut third on Town Moor and rates next best. Outlandish is another 3-y-o worth a second look.
