Likeable sprinter who, having performed with credit on several previous visits to this track, landed a big pot at the Ebor meeting last term. Ran right up to his best when placed both starts this spring, latterly over C&D. 3 lb rise may just anchor him.
Progressive on the whole in 2024 and though sent off 4/1, he shaped as though in need of the run when ninth of 10 in handicap at Pontefract (5f). All the better form that and better than ever in the process when adding to this tally at Ripon a month ago, keeping on well.
Displayed loads of speed when opening his account in a Ripon maiden (5f) in August. Finished mid-field in pair of Group contests thereafter and while he never really looked like justifying support on reappearance, it was a sound-enough handicap debut.
Useful mare. Successful reappearance at Southwell (5f) in March but doesn't arrive in top form, meeting trouble in listed company at Bath and then reportedly amiss at Goodwood 4 weeks ago.
Successful 3 times during a good 3-y-o campaign and has begun this season in good form, runner-up twice before a deserved victory at Haydock last week. Up 4 lb in a deeper race but he's a likeable type.
York regular who performed with credit all 3 visits here in 2024. Just bubbling under in 3 starts this year but he's now below last winning mark, which makes him dangerous.
Shaped well on debut here a year ago and off the mark at Ripon soon after. Acquitted himself well in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot later that month. Subsequently gelded and displayed much-improved form on second handicap start when runner-up in a big-field C&D handicap a fortnight ago.
Pretty consistent handicapper, winning at Windsor from 1 lb lower in May 2024 and she shaped as though back in good order when third at Epsom a month ago, slowly away.
Course winner who ended 2024 in top form, winning 3 of last 4 starts over 7f. Back in excellent order with a brace of in-frame efforts but this his first run over 5f since 2021.
Progressive AW sprinter in the last year or so, better than ever for third win of that period at Kempton (6f, 9/1) 63 days ago, all out. Lot depends on whether she can translate that level to turf.
Won on return at Doncaster in 2023 but more miss than hit since having raced fairly sparingly. Off since November but the handicapper has given him every chance and record fresh is encouraging. Joined yard in reasonable nick so could be very interesting.
Confirmed the promise of his stable debut/reappearance when successful in 9-runner handicap at Thirsk on first crack at 5f fortnight ago. May have found his niche over the minimum trip.
Stuck to his task when a head-second at Nottingham this month and shaped as though still in top form when third at Newmarket a fortnight ago. Clearly in good order but is eligible for weaker races than this.

Forecasts
Jm Jungle (4/1), Loom (9/2), Venture Capital (5/1), Duran (13/2), Bergerac (10/1), Zayer (10/1), Jumbeau (10/1), Kodiac Thriller (14/1), Miss Attitude (14/1), Bond Chairman (14/1), Habooba (28/1), It Just Takes Time (40/1), Spirit Of Applause (50/1)
Plenty to consider but at the forecast prices it may pay to side with BOND CHAIRMAN. He hasn't stood much racing in recent times but fresh might be the time to catch him and having joined a yard among the winners, he's certainly weighted to strike. Unexposed 3-y-o Loom arrives on the back of a cracking runner-up effort over C&D, while Kodiac Thriller may have more to offer over 5f.
