Gold Aura^p²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Dylan Hogan| T: Jack Jones| OR: 69| BF

2/1

6/5 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, proved a let-down after 3 months off on first outing since leaving Richard Hannon (sold 25,000 gns) when third of 9 in maiden at Chelmsford City (10f) 22 days ago, wanting to lug right throughout. Makes tapeta debut. Worth another chance.

Form: 47-2343

Pelissanne⁵⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Kyle Strydom| T: D Menuisier

40/1

13/2, held back by inexperience when last of 4 in minor event at Newcastle (8f) on debut 8 weeks ago, very slowly away.

Form: 4

(6)

Rocklyn²⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Billy Loughnane| T: S Dixon

9/1

Shaped quite well under a considerate ride from a poor position when fifth of 11 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 33/1) on debut 25 days ago. Should improve.

Form: 5

125/1

33/1, showed more than first time up when sixth of 12 in minor event at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 9 weeks ago. Still has something to learn.

Form: 56

(7)

Catrake Force²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: S H James| T: Grant Tuer

22/1

Showed plenty to work on when runner-up at Wolverhampton on debut but finished last of 9 in maiden at Chelmsford City (10f, 6/1) next time. Down in trip.

Form: 29

Forecasts

Leap Day (13/8), Gold Aura (2/1), On The Cards (11/2), Thelastwinterarrow (13/2), Rocklyn (9/1), Catrake Force (22/1), Pelissanne (40/1), Teah (125/1)

GOLD AURA was disappointing on first outing for this yard at Chelmsford earlier this month but she may have just needed the run so Jack Jones' filly is fancied to belatedly open her account at the expense of Leap Day, who bounced back to best making a belated handicap debut at Newcastle 3 weeks ago and would be a major threat with a repeat effort. On The Cards and Rocklyn can fight out third spot.
