Has some notable C&D successes on his record, winning at the Ebor meeting last season and at the Dante meeting this year. Hit-and-miss form this term and ran poorly in another C&D event last time, so others preferred at present.
Landed a pair of 1m handicaps at Yarmouth/Nottingham in the spring and back to form with a bang when making all at Chester (7.5f) in August. Looked vulnerable from this mark when ninth of 12 in handicap (12/1) at Goodwood (8f, good) 16 days ago.
Irish Cambridgeshire winner in 2021 who has recorded 3 creditable efforts over 1m here since joining this stable. Chance a return fo a bigger field/stronger pace could show him in a better light.
C&D winner ended long losing run at Ayr in August. Again ran well when second of 14 in handicap there (8f, good) 20 days ago. Been holding form for a while and can give a good another account.
Found some improvement when taking 16-runner handicap (6/1) at Thirsk (8f, good to soft) in July and has ran at least as well when second in a pair of starts since. Looks competitive on form.
Won here in July and also scored at Redcar in August. Not in the same form in a pair of starts since and has work to do from widest draw.
Thirteen-time winner has held form consistently well this season, another good effort when fourth of 14 in handicap at Ayr (8f, good, 8/1) 20 days ago. Drawn higher than ideal but could give another good account.
Good third at Haydock on penultimate outing but disappointed after a quick turnaround at Ascot last week. Run style requires lots of drop right and others are preferred.
Course winner here in June and shaped as if still in reasonable form when seventh of 18 in handicap at this C&D (good) 50 days ago. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
Won 1m handicaps at Sandown and Ascot in 2021 last term but has been struggling for form this year, down the field at Doncaster last time. Cheekpices now applied.
Won at Carlisle and Wolverhampton in August before notching his third win of the campaign at 14-runner handicap at Haydock (8f, good) 14 days ago. Things will be harder from 7 lb higher mark.
Triple winner last term but season has developed into an anti-climax recently, failing to stay when upped to 10f at Doncaster last time. Others more persuasive.
Won at Doncaster and Chelmsford City early this term and has made frame on his last 3 outings. Has settled better on his last 2 outings and holds similar claims again.
Returned to form at Ascot in August and didn't shape too badly in the Cambridgeshire last time. Dropped another 2 lb and could make more impact this time.
Won back-to-back handicaps here last summer. Keen going type tends to save his best for bigger fields and ran one of this season's better races down in grade at Haydock last time. Can make presence felt.
Got off the mark for current yard at Redcar (7f) in June but hasn't threatened since, last of 21 in handicap (125/1) at Ascot (7f, good to firm) 76 days ago (raced alone on far side). Hard to fancy.
Won at Chester twice last term and caught the eye from poor draw when fifth there last time. Remains on a good mark and merits consideration.
Won listed event at Toulouse last season but hasn't been operating at that level recently. Improvement required on UK debut.
Winner at Kempton and Haydock this term. Shaped like the best horse when close second of 12 in handicap at Goodwood (8f, good, 9/2) 16 days ago, finishing strongly. Draw is a negative but he's not taken lightly.
Course winner. Fifth in the Lincoln on return and looked back in form when filling same position in 10-runner handicap at Thirsk (7f, good to soft) 69 days ago. Visor back on. Becoming well treated.
