Has taken his form up a notch for his new yard, scooping a big pot in a 21-runner 6f York handicap in May. Excuses on his last couple of outings and may yet have more to offer.
Is a likeable type who looked better than ever when scoring at Chester in July. Latest effort at that track easily ignored (caught wide) and he's likely to bounce back.
Smart front runner at his best. Hasn't been firing recently though, so others make more appeal in this competitive event.
Snapped a long losing run from a career-low mark when landing a five-runner handicap at Newmarket in August and quickly back on track when second at Ascot last week. He's hard to rely on, though.
Useful at 3 but hasn't looked quite in the same form this season. Back down in grade now, so worth a market check.
Looked very useful when winning 3 of his first 4 starts and, after a brief lull, got back on the up when landing a 7-runner contest at Ffos Las a fortnight ago. May not have finished improving.
Dual winner this term, latterly at Redcar in August. Struggled at York next time but he's 4 lb lower now, so not a forlorn hope.
Resumed winning ways with a career best in 6f handicap at Newcastle in June but was down the field at Goodwood next time. Consistency remains an issue.
Back to winning ways in 7f handicap at Ffos Las in July and back in that sort of form lately, fourth at Goodwood 2 weeks ago. Should give another good account.
Won Redcar claimer last month (for Ed Dunlop) and continued resurgence for new yard, readily completing a four-timer at this course in August. Makes plenty of appeal once more.
8-y-o who gained reward for consistency when successful at Haydock (6f) in July and has generally held it together since. Not without a chance.
Useful sort who was in good form during the early part of the campaign but seems to be in a lull at the moment.
Useful sort who landed his second success of the season at Newmarket in August and wasn't seen to best effect at Newcastle last time. Respected.

Able Kane (7/2), Tanmawwy (11/2), Juan Les Pins (13/2), Asjad (7/1), Mums Tipple (8/1), Fools Rush In (10/1), Raatea (12/1), Bellosa (14/1), Hyperfocus (16/1), Lion Tower (16/1), Mitrosonfire (22/1), Zargun (28/1), Lord Of The Lodge (40/1)
JUAN LES PINS has done nothing but improve since joining Michael Appleby and, with a useful claimer back on board, he's fancied to complete a five-timer even if this looks pretty competitive. Tanmawwy has further progress in him and is feared most, while Shine So Bright bids to take his unbeaten record this season to three on the back of a 4-month break.
