Rapid improver in 1¼m handicaps last season, gaining fifth career success at Newcastle (10.2f) in September. Shaped very well (unlucky not to win) when fourth on return at Windsor and excuses at Ascot since. Worth another chance up in trip.

Ended 2021 firmly on the up and needed only 2 runs this campaign to regain the winning thread in 6-runner handicap at Lingfield 10 days ago. Up 6 lb but demands respect.

Two wins from 5 runs on the AW this year but looks to have gone off the boil of late. Others more persuasive back on turf returned to turf.

Case can be made on his French form but well held both starts for this yard 4 months apart. Tongue tie on.

Salisbury race he finished second in on return worked out well and he did his bit for the form when scoring at Nottingham 3 weeks ago. Likely to give it another good shot.

Consistent without getting is head in front last year and deservedly off the mark without needing to improve in small-field Wolverhampton novice (12.2f). Better form when third at Chester last time, shaping well to boot.

Rather in-and out last season and having left Andrew Balding 26,000 gns in October, he probably needed the run on April's reappearance here. Cheekpieces on.

Well treated on best form but went backwards over hurdles for Paul Nicholls and unable to cash in for this yard, not achieving a great deal when second of 4 at Chepstow.

Won a brace of juvenile contests over hurdles last summer. Not seen to best effect back on the level when last seen in December and off since, but he's in top hands.

Fit from hurdling when third of 10 in a novice at Lingfield in February. Given a chance by the assessor and a well-run race would suit.

Improved when striking at over C&D last summer and now back on that winning mark. This trip more suitable than 2m last time.
