Climate²⁰⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-0| J: Shane Foley| T: Mrs J Harrington| OR: 98

22/1

Opened her account in a 1m maiden at Navan in September and improved on both subsequent starts, unlucky not to go closer when fifth to Ville de Grace in the Pride Stakes here. Not a forlorn hope on return.

Dreamloper²¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-0| J: K Shoemark| T: E Walker| OR: 109

4/1

Scored in Ascot Group 3 last July and was firmly back on track when third to Saffron Beach in the Sun Chariot Stakes at this course 7 months ago. Solid claims if ready to go.

Ebaiyra²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-0| J: C Soumillon| T: F Graffard| OR: 111

15/8

Smart mare who has already won at this level in France and, while her latest effort was only respectable, she has a fitness edge over her main rivals, so worth chancing.

Form: 1263-33

Lilac Road²⁰⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-0| J: Tom Marquand| T: W J Haggas| OR: 105

5/1

Off the mark at listed level in tenacious fashion at Salisbury last August and backed it up with an excellent second to Ville de Grace at this course 6 months ago. Solid claims on comeback.

Age: 4| Weight: 9-0| J: S De Sousa| T: G Boughey| OR: 85| D

66/1

Fairly useful filly who failed to beat a rival in a listed race at Kempton on first outing for George Boughey. Blinkered now, but she looks out of her depth.

Form: 22431-7

Ville De Grace²⁰⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-0| J: R L Moore| T: Sir Michael Stoute| OR: 106| C

85/40

Career best when winning 15-runner Pride Stakes at this course by ½ length from Lilac Road when last seen, always holding on. Type to go on improving so boasts sound claims on return.

Forecasts

Ebaiyra (15/8), Ville De Grace (85/40), Dreamloper (4/1), Lilac Road (5/1), Auria (14/1), Climate (22/1), Romantic Rival (66/1)

EBAIYRA is a dual Group 2 winner already and has a recent run under her belt, unlike Ville de Grace and Lilac Road, who fought out the finish in the Pride Stakes (Climate back in fifth) here 6 months ago, so she gets the vote.
