Improving gelding who added to his Wolverhampton novice win when scoring by a comfortable 2L on his turf/stable debut at Ayr (7f, good) last week. 8lb rise suggests the manner of his win hasn't gone unnoticed, but should be thereabouts again.
Recorded his 10th career win when scoring readily at Haydock (7f, good to soft) on his reappearance last month. Back up 6lb for that, but has a C&D win to his name and if repeating his Haydock effort he'd be a contender.
Dual winner, including here over 6f and at Doncaster (1m), both on a sound surface. Ran well here over 1m last time and no doubting he is on a handy mark, so can't write him off. New headgear combination tried this time.
Has won twice at Sandown and twice on Newmarket's July Course, all over this trip and with 'good' in the going description. 2lb lower than the latest of those, for Richard Hannon last year, so can't write him off.
Dual distance winner on AW whose most recent success, in May last year, was his only one on turf so far (5f, good to firm) at Ascot when with Robert Cowell. Same mark here, but needs to be much better than his two recent runs.
Multiple winner over 7f on a variety of going. Won a fillies' handicap in this grade at Catterick last September when last on this handicap mark, and after a couple of runs this season, she could be primed for a big run this time.
Multiple winner over 7f-7½f at either Beverley or Thirsk. Hasn't won for two years now, however, and after going close on his last two outings, he has gone up 4lb again, so this won't get any easier.
Six-time Kempton (AW) winner over 6f-7f, where he has an exceptional strike-rate. However, is 0-2 and yet to make the frame on turf. Arrives in good form from the AW, but now has to prove he can transfer that to this surface.
Debut winner at Wetherby (7f, good) last year and has run well in a couple of handicaps since, including on last month's reappearance at Thirsk (1m, good to soft). Could be more to come from him and could go close with 7lb claimed and in tongue-tie.
Dual scorer over 7f-7½f. Hasn't won for almost two years now, although has only have seven runs in that time and went close twice last season from higher marks than today. Appears to retain that ability, so don't rule him out.
5-31 on turf, all those wins coming over this trip, on ground from good to firm through to heavy. However, winless since September 2018, and now 12lb lower, but after having had several chances he has plenty to prove.
Got off the mark at the third attempt in a Windsor maiden (1m, good to firm) 12-months ago. Bettered that in a Kempton handicap (1m, AW) when third last month. Well held there last time. Drops 2lb and cheekpieces go on, but more needed.
Has won sprints on both turf/AW and went very close to a first win over this far when a neck second over C&D (soft) this time last year, when 1lb lower. Flopped back over 6f at Haydock latest, but could be involved if bouncing back.
Multiple winning prominent racer, including here over 1m in 2018. Has won three more times from higher marks than today's since then, acts on any ground, and if he can put a lesser effort at Beverley behind him, he should be involved.
Continued what had been a spell of improvement when scoring at Leicester (1m, good) on his reappearance last month. Went up 4lb for that and in grade, but was probably too keen at Thirsk last time. Not ruled out after that, but has a bit to prove.
4-24 on turf over trips from 7f-1m½f, all with 'good' in the going description. Latest of those came at Musselburgh (three wins there) on his penultimate start. Beaten at Beverley after 4lb rise last time, but drops 1lb again and not written off.
Four-time winner over 7f-1m on good ground or softer. 4lb higher than the most recent of those after going very close behind How Bizarre when last seen at Musselburgh. More needed in this line-up.

A tough contest where plenty of them can have cases made. Parys Mountain is likely to blast off and while he may not get caught, a good gallop should also suit his stable companion RUX RUXX, who looks to have been building nicely towards this and is taken to score. Amplification could be one of the main dangers to the selection, while Prompting and Shady McCoy should both be very competitive.
