Made a winning start at Nottingham (1m6f, good to soft) last season, and rounded off with a sound second to Sassie in a 12-runner Class 3 handicap at York (2m½f, soft); was beaten by a short-head on sole previous AW start (Chelmsford).
Simply adores Kempton Park (career form figures 421113); the winning streak came to an abrupt end here in March when beaten at short odds (2-5f) by last week's Goodwood scorer Mouriyani; sits on a career high mark of 80.
The focus towards the end of 2019 was over hurdles, and that is where this five-year-old has shown his strongest form (remains a maiden); this race marks his Flat handicap debut - doesn't appear to be obviously well-treated; look elsewhere.
Has had his fair share of trainers over the years (was with William Knight when scoring off this mark here - 1m4f - in October 2018); slowly away, and always in rear on first start for David Menuisier at Lingfield 13 days ago.
Encouraging second to Groveman on return from a 581-day absence at Newcastle (1m4½f) in February; backed that up with another solid effort 19 days ago; stamina is the obvious question mark at 2m (untested).
Dual C&D winner (most recently in July 2018); is handicapped to be competitive, assuming that a stint over hurdles hasn't served to blunt his speed; was always doing enough when winning at Plumpton (3m1f, heavy) in February; realistic chance.
Generally reliable at Kempton Park; came with a strong late run when scoring here from this mark (over 1m3f) in April 2019; however, was beaten 5¼L by Vibrance (Casa Comigo second) over C&D last November.
Prominent racer; was completing the hat-trick when winning unchallenged at Chelmsford (2m) a whopping 1119 days ago; 2lb higher seeking to improve upon a respectable AW record (3-6; 50%); market a helpful guide.
123-rated hurdler who has shown his strongest form on good/good to soft ground; still a maiden on the Flat, finishing down the field (just behind Dono di Dio) at Lingfield (1m4f) 16 days ago; blinkers are newly applied.
Won three on the bounce (all at 2m) during a productive spell between August and October 2019; higher in the weights (and raised in grade) as a result; much better off at the weights with Vibrance on the basis of November 2019 C&D form.
