Three-time 5f winner and stepped up to this trip only once before when fair third at Yarmouth last term. Will strip fitter for a respectable return run at Newcastle last week and has been eased 2lb.
Placed last two of three career starts all at Newcastle in 6f novice stakes. Makes handicap bow on first run on turf so not easy to assess but hails from shrewd northern yard so market could be worth a check.
Dual Newcastle AW 6f h'cap winner during the winter but only turf success came off a 10lb lower mark than here. Has a bit to prove to defy rise in the weights on first start back. Yard in fair form.
Both wins have come on the Fibresand at Southwell scoring over 7f and in a 1m h'cap last time out. Slight surprise to see him dropping back two furlongs put champion apprentice booked and may not be far away of forcing the pace.
Only win from six starts came in Yarmouth 6f h'cap on final start for Lydia Pearce a year ago. Fair second off 1lb lower on second and last star for Michael Squance in September and debuts now for Simon Pearce.
Completed five-timer last summer at Yarmouth off 72 but has really struggled off higher marks since then. Back down to feasible rating now and close eighth at Lingfield recently. Chance if responding well to first time blinkers.
Completed winter 6f Southwell hat-trick when defying a mark of 80. Runner-up off 88 only start back there since. Not the same on turf and is 0-10 but undeniably well handicapped if somehow able to reproduce AW form. It's a big 'if' though.
Equally effective on turf and AW and followed Yarmouth 6f h'cap win in October with two successes at Newcastle before the turn of the year. Returns after six-month absence and 19lb higher than last turf win. Faces a tough task.
Mainly campaigned on AW last year and more and signed off with victory at Kempton in 6f h'cap in March off 5lb lower mark. Usually improves for a run or two after a break.
Veteran seeking his 11th career success having been in fine form during the winter scoring three times on the AW. Hasn't won on turf for over two years and is 17lb lower than that Goodwood triumph. Close sixth at Lingfield last week on return.

Forecasts
Victory Rose (10/3), Indian Raj (5/1), Camachess (5/1), Native Silver (11/2), Herringswell (8/1), Phoenix Star (10/1), I Know How (12/1), Sandridge Lad (14/1), Daring Guest (16/1), Pavers Pride (16/1), Englishman (18/1), Prophecy (18/1)
No outstanding candidate for this tightly knit sprint handicap but CAMACHESS looked as though she was coming back to form with a pleasing effort last week and if taking to the first-time blinkers might just be good enough to land the spoils. Old Englishman caught the eye staying on well enough in a recent sprint on his return to the fray and cannot be discounted, nor can Daring Guest, whose stable is in tremendous form since the restart. Native Silver is worth a glance with the champion apprentice claimning a valuable 3lb, while top weight Indian Raj is down in grade and may not be too far away either.
