Appealing pedigree. Looked in need of the run on debut at Newbury (7f) but travelled well throughout. This trip looks more welcoming and one to consider if coming on for that run.

€15,500 yearling by the speedy Bungleinthejungle. Half-Brother to 7f-1m winners Guntur and Big Baby Bull. Interesting pedigree that merits a betting check on debut.

Didn't show significant progression from debut run when eighth of 10 in strong-looking Goodwood maiden (6f) at the start of the month. This looks a weaker contest but he may be better suited to nurseries.

Paid for forcing the pace when sixth in Goodwood maiden (6f) on latest start. Winner of that race looks a promising type so he sets the form standard and looks to be the stable's main hope. Respected.

Ivawood colt. Missed the start and was outpaced on debut in Lingfield novice (5f, good to firm) in June. Form of that race was modest and probably best watched until contesting nurseries and handicaps.
Ivawood colt. Closely related to 5f two-year-old winner Birdge Night and up to 1m winner Intimately. Pedigree suggests he should be right there on debut and notable if there is market support.

By the former champion juvenile Holy Roman Emperor out of a 6f winning mare and is related to 6f winner No Nonsense. Pedigree suggests this race is his type and shortlisted to go well on debut.
Offered little on debut when 23L sixth in 6f Newbury contest in late July. Form of that race looks weak and others readily preferred.

Camacho filly. Cheap purchase as a yearling out of an unraced dam who has produced up to 2m winner Cosette and 1m4f winner Dark Pearl. Likely to excel over further and best watched.

€24,000 as a two-year-old. Has a speedy dam (dual winner over 5f) but has failed to produce a winner on the track to date. Betting should guide her chances.

Inexperience told on debut when hanging badly and was never a factor on debut at Windsor (6f, good to firm) last month. Offers little appeal off the back of that effort.

Forecasts

Ascension (13/8), Good Job Power (5/2), Aweemaweh (5/1), Cheat (8/1), Roman Melody (14/1), Katniss Everdeen (16/1), Ivadream (16/1), Fighting Don (33/1), Lady Florence (66/1), Itoldyoutobackit (66/1), Woodsmokehill (100/1), Wrath Of Hector (100/1)

Verdict

The experienced GOOD JOB POWER has shown significant promise in two starts to date, meeting the same smart rival each time and was arguably ridden too aggressively last time out and his experience could tell against rivals who may fare better in time. Ascension can be forgiven for his debut effort and his pedigree suggests sprinting will be his game and this easier 6f should suit well, while Ivadream is of interest for a yard who can ready one for their first run on the track as well as Roman Melody, whose pedigree suggests he is an out an out sprinter.
  1. Good Job Power
  2. Ascension
  3. Roman Melody
