Ran well when 7L second in a 1m novice race at Kempton on his penultimate start. Struggled on handicap debut upped to 1m2f at Windsor (good-to-firm) subsequently however and return to this trip is a positive.
Failed to figure in two starts this campaign including over an extended 1m at Epsom (good) last time out. Probably best watched off a mark 3lb higher than for his latest success.
Off the mark at the third time of asking when winning a 1m novice event at Lingfield at the end of December. One to note despite a wide draw on handicap and seasonal debut.
C&D winner completed a double over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton in April. Held in two 1m2f starts subsequently however and interesting to see how he fares down in trip.
C&D winner recorded an impressive 4L win in a 1m handicap on fibresand at Southwell early last month. Well beaten over this C&D last time out however and needs to put that latest effort behind him.
Victorious in a C&D novice event at the end of September. Well held over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton the following month and making his handicap and stable debut on first start since being gelded.
Dual winner including over an extended 7f at Chester (good) last July. Well beaten seventh of eight on debut for this yard over an extended 1m2f there last month and this trip looks more suitable.
Handicap mark is falling following some defeats on turf in recent months including when sixth at Newbury (1m, soft) last time out. Market support would be notable having placed off a higher mark here in the past.
Winner of four races most recently over 7f at Chelmsford in April. Return to AW should suit following a heavy defeat on soft ground at York (7f) last time out.
Promising third over 1m at Chelmsford in a novice contest last September. Gelded since finishing fifth at Pontefract (1m, good-to-soft) the following month and is worth a check in the market on handicap and seasonal debut.
Successful by a short-head in a C&D handicap in February. Well below that form on two most recent starts however and interesting to see how she fares in this contest.
Put a disappointing effort behind him when finishing 1L second in a good-to-firm ground 1m handicap at Brighton just under a month ago. Of interest racing off the same mark having won over this C&D in the past.
C&D winner has struggled in four starts since finishing 1L third in a first time visor (retained since) over C&D in March. Worth a check in the market with a return to this venue in her favour.
Finished runner-up on his two most recent starts including when beaten 2L over 1m at Chepstow (good-to-firm) just over a month ago. Races off the same mark here and is one to note on this occasion.
Forecasts
Kingston Kurrajong (4/1), Just Brilliant (9/2), Kings Highway (6/1), Let Rip (7/1), Harbour Vision (9/1), Arigato (10/1), Magic Mirror (10/1), Directory (12/1), Fronsac (12/1), Jellmood (14/1), Ragstone View (16/1), Chai Chai (25/1), Margie's Choice (25/1), Seven Clans (33/1)
LET RIP is taken to make a winning seasonal and handicap debut by taking this handicap contest. The selection is open to improvement having had just three previous starts and he can see off Margie's Choice who has won or placed on four of her five starts at this venue and is well drawn on this occasion. Third place can go the way of top weight Just Brilliant who is dropping back in distance.
- Let Rip
- Margie's Choice
- Just Brilliant
