Off mark at 12th attempt at Wolverhampton in January, and didn't need to improve when winning at Lingfield (1m2f) in February. Not seen since, but top rider booked, and big run clearly expected.
Only win in 17 starts came over 1m here last October, and he's largely been below form this year. Slipping in the weights, though, and taking on weaker opposition than normal, so chance he might bounce back.
Alll three wins on turf but kept on well when second at Chelmsford on penultimate outing, and ran to a similar level when fourth of 11 at Newbury last time. Claims, for all wide draw not ideal.
Best effort in qualifying when second of 13 in minor event at Wolverhampton (1m1½f) early this month. More required now handicapping, but likely to progress again, and not taken lightly.
Looks to be getting his act together having been patiently handled, winning over 1m3f here on penultimate start. Didn't get the breaks at Wolverhampton last time, and remains open to improvement.
Has run creditably on all starts to date, finishing 1½L third of 9 to Rhosneigr in a 1m2f handicap at Ripon in August when last seen. Yard in form, and likely to be competitive on return from a break if handling new surface.
Second in a 1m½f handicap at Wolverhampton on first start for David Brown last month (ex Roger Varian), but disappointed there next time,a nd has changed yards again. Market helpful.
Ran poorly over 1m here in the spring when last seen, but makes handicap debut after a break having been gelded, and yard had a double here on Monday, so not ruled out.Runs in a refitted with a first-time eyecover.
Ran respectably on debut for current yard having left Richard Hannon, but has taken backward steps in two starts since, and not easy to fancy now.
Course regular who returned to form down in grade when third to Global Wonder here last time, shaping better than bare result. All her form has come at 7f/1m, though, and questionable whether this trip will suit.
Ran with promise on handicap debut at Newmarket (7f) in June, but disappointing that he hasn't been able to build on that. Never nearer when sixth of 13 over 1m here last time, and may be worth a tray at this trip.
Disappointed on handicap debut for Roger Varian, and has run poorly on both starts for current yard. Given a break, which offers some hope, but not easy to fancy on recent evidence.
Ran well on sole start here (only AW run), and back to form when second to Dagian at Bath last time. High head-carriage a worry, but might benefit from removal of hood he's worn on last four starts.
Won over 1m here as a 3-y-o, but that was his last success, and he's looked one to avoid over timber of late, and no appeal having pulled up in a selling hurdle last time.
Forecasts
Go Fox (3/1), Raaqyah (11/2), Arabic Culture (8/1), Lady Farhh (8/1), Magic Mirror (9/1), Glendun (9/1), Unit of Assessment (12/1), Excelleration (12/1), Ashazuri (12/1), Screaming Gemini (14/1), Matravers (20/1), Zenith One (25/1), Dono Di Dio (33/1), Compulsive (33/1)
UNIT OF ASSESSMENT hasn't been seen in a while, but the booking of Oisin Murphy suggests this is no pipe-opener, and he can make it three wins from his last four here. Arabic Culture had excuses last time, and looks a danger, while the market will be useful in assessing handicap debutant Zenith One, whose yard had a double here on Monday.
