Won twice on the turf at Lingfield last season but just the two starts this season and well beaten in each. Only 1lb above last winning mark now but question marks after a 15-week break.
Runner-up in a Hexham bumper last June, but he's not matched that in either sphere since, and no improvement for wind surgery when well held at Newcastle and Ripon lately.
Form regressed last season for Brian Ellison and has just one win since 2015. Beaten a long way on reappearance / stable bow at Redcar (1m6f, good to firm) this month.
Much-improved on fifth start when third of 11 over extended two-miles at Wolverhampton last month, beaten just over 2L. Interesting to see if that run can be built on.
Winning hurdler who has shown little in two starts on the AW, including tailed off effort over a mile here in April when last spotted. Starts life off for new trainer over more suitable trip.
Sea The Stars gelding, lacks a turn of pace, remains a maiden after 12 starts though came closest when neck-second over this C&D in January in amateur rider's event off this mark.
Seven-race maiden, hasn't improve in two starts since joining this handler and looks up against it on form again.
Sole win came at Wetherby over a mile in 2016 and hard to know what his best trip is since being tried over a variety of distances. Well beaten in two recent starts and races from 7lb out of the handicap here.
Sir Percy gelding who has shown precious little ability in three starts last year, returns from 353 days off for handicap debut for a yard not having a great time of it (7-90). Watching brief unless vibes are very positive.
Beaten wide margins in trio of maiden/novice starts at up to 1m4f so far, latest on the AW at Lingfield last month. Switches to handicaps needs to improve dramatically.
Maiden, uncompetitive in four AW starts this year at up to 1m1½f, shaped better at Thirsk (1m4f, soft) this month but needs more still over this extended trip.
Lightly-raced maiden, didn't appear to relish step up in distance to this sort of trip at Wolverhampton last month and hard to see the improvement coming to make her competitive on that evidence.
Maiden, beaten by wide margins at big prices on his last six starts on the Flat and over hurdles. Looks easy to oppose again going back up in distance.

Not a finale to be getting carried with. He remains a maiden and lacks a turn of pace but TYNECASTLE PARK came closest to scoring over this C&D from this mark in January and seems as plausible an answer to this riddle as any. Moans Cross showed much-improved form at Wolverhampton over this sort of trip last month and will be in the firing if able to produce something similar. Saint Mac is a possible improver going into handicaps, should any money arrive, with Ipcress File of some minor interest based on a better run at Thirsk this month and the apparent paucity of opposition now upped in distance.
- Tynecastle Park
- Moans Cross
- Ipcress File
