Races off a mark 5lb lower than when scoring in January. The stable subsequently went almost seven months without a winner but their luck has changed recently. Potentially well in and the jockey booking looks positive.
Did not look that straightforward when with Paul Cole. Claimed after finishing runner-up in a really poor seller last time and faces a much sterner test in this on stable debut.
All out to land a Wolverhampton claimer when 33/1. That was just his second run for this yard and came as a bolt from the blue. More needed here and hard to be sure he is up to the task.
Sole success in 29 starts came at Windsor in June. Produced another good run there on Sunday when coming from off the pace to finish runner-up in an apprentice race. Races off an identical mark here with a good claimer on board.
Largely disappointing so far but best effort came on an AW surface. Still has a mountain to climb but rider will be a good guide at least.
Has run only six times, but has shown gradual improvement, culminating in a second of 10 at Lingfield in February. Did not look straightforward that day and again at Brighton last time. Yard have been enjoying a fruitful month.
Without a win in almost five years and mark has been plummeting under both codes. Hard to fancy judged on his latest run and he may need slower conditions these days.
Went well here in first time blinkers on yard debut a month ago. Not as good next time and now upped considerably in trip with different headgear applied. Mark is attractive enough if staying better than his pedigree suggests.
Well beaten on both starts since his return from a two year break. Remains weighted on the best of his 2015 form and there have been no signs that he retains that ability.
Inconsistent type who disappointed under this rider in first time blinkers three weeks ago. The aids are dispensed with now and he returns to the scene of his sole success. Looks a risk at the predicted odds given his recent record.
Best efforts have come on AW surfaces and over considerably shorter. Pedigree casts doubts she will stay this far. Hood applied for the first time in a bid to get her to settle.
Cost €42,000 as a yearling and this son of Lawman is a half-brother to seven winners including high-class stayer Allegretto. Looks a typical slow burner from this yard and one who will improve considerably now up in trip for handicap debut.
Down the field in three maidens and earns a low mark as a result. Fetched €52,000 as a yearling and now gets a trip more in line with her pedigree. Trainer/jockey combination are 4-6 this month so one to note in the ring.
Winner on turf at Lingfield and then beaten in a first time hood at Beverley on softer ground over slightly shorter. Aids are removed having had little effect and it is possible the Lingfield form amounts to little.
Forecasts
Wolfcatcherjack (9/4), Tuolumne Meadows (6/1), Zamadance (6/1), Powered (7/1), Howardian Hills (7/1), Lady Of York (9/1), Feel The Vibes (14/1), Never Folding (16/1), Rianna Star (20/1), Xylophone (20/1), Callaghan (25/1), Karam Albaari (25/1), Whipcrackaway (33/1), Storming Harry (50/1)
WOLFCATCHERJACK looks a typical type from the yard who can be expected to step up on previous efforts in a handicap for the first time and over a more suitable trip. The opposition amounts to little although Karam Albaari is on a handy mark which has slipped during a period when the stable were out of form. Xylophone is one to note in the ring and Powered has each-way claims.
