Improving and winner of two of last three, the latest coming at Nottingham on heavy ground last week. Wasn't stopping at the finish there, so stiff finish here should suit, and must go close to following up under a penalty.

Has found some form out of the blue, winning in France and then third here over a trip that might have stretched him a bit. Drop back to a mile looks a positive and as he's proven with a bit of cut, should go well here.

First start for new yard (who can ready them first time, 2-14 with newcomers to the yard over the last year) and this step back in trip looks interesting (yard often run them over various trips). Worry would be the ground, as he seems happier on quicker, but worth a look in the market all the same.

Third run for new yard but hasn't beaten a horse home in two starts for them, and not seen since April. Makes next to no appeal,

Tends to miss the break and usually held up, so stall 1 probably not ideal, has form on stiff tracks at this trip but another for whom genuinely soft ground may pose a problem.

Winner over 7f at Salisbury in May and almost followed up at Brighton next time. Latest effort best forgiven as she did too much too soon, and she'll need to settle better to get home on this stiffer track. May be more to come for new yard though, so not completely ruled out.

Yet to win in nine starts and already starting to look exposed, not pulling up any trees form-wise and well beaten latest. This trip possibly on the short side too, and unproven on the ground. Needs to up his game here.

Sprung a 20/1 surprise when victorious at Salisbury latest, but that was over 10f and on quicker ground, so likely to face different conditions here. Chances if as effective on this ground and despite 6lb rise, not totally discounted.
