Winner of six races who has been in good form this year with wins at Southwell and Chester. Last couple of runs have been in stronger races than this and should enjoy this drop in Class. Provided he doesn't expend too much energy getting to the front, he's a leading player in this line up.
Won on his debut at Chelmsford and scored for the first-time since at Chepstow last time on good to firm ground. Could still be more to come and well backed last time but probably wouldn't want to see any rain arrive and withdrawn at Newmarket after a downpour last week.
Off the mark at the eighth attempt at Goodwood last time having shaped promisingly on his previous start at Sandown and could be a different prospect this year for his new yard. 5lb rise merited for his most recent success and should go well again.
Not won for over a year now but fair efforts in two starts this time around at Leicester. Needs more if he's to get his head in front but solid place claims provided he copes with this track.
Not won since winning a Chelmsford City maiden back in 2015 but finished unplaced in six starts last year. Too keen at Newbury last time but suspicion is he's on a good mark if he can put it all together. Perhaps best watched this time with the yard a little quiet.
Still a maiden after eight starts but improved a little for the gelding operation in the off season. Suspicion is he's vulnerable off this sort of mark though and the handicapper refusing to cut him any slack.
Fairly lightly-raced gelding who put together a good run of form on during last season before finishing last of all at Southwell last time after a short break. Good chance that his handicap mark is still too high after an 11L romp at Leicester in July and entitled to need this run after a break.
Not won on turf since 2015 but has been running well of late over shorter than this trip and won on the AW at Lingfield earlier in the year. Interesting to see whether the step up in trip sees him in an even better light but best efforts on turf have come with cut in the ground so he'd probably want some rain to arrive.
Has been in good form this summer and confirmed the promise of a pair of placed efforts at Chepstow with a win on fast ground at Lingfield last time. Stayed on gamely and 4lb rise looks fair; good chance he can run well again, particularly if he gets an early lead.
Progressive on the AW back at the start of 2015 but has slowly regressed since. Scored off a career low mark at Lingfield last month but not in the same form at Newmarket last time and he has a bad habit of missing the break, something that will prove costly at this course.

Silver Ghost (6/4), Tripartite (7/1), Storm King (7/1), Compton Mill (8/1), Ladurelli (9/1), Harlequin Striker (10/1), The Gay Cavalier (11/1), Thundering Blue (14/1), Jufn (14/1), Fort Jefferson (14/1), Berrahri (20/1)
SILVER GHOST seems to have improved plenty over the winter and may not be done progressing just yet after winning easily enough at Goodwood last time. Storm King and Tripartite are both dangerous if allowed an easy lead and the latter is narrowly preferred with a kinder draw.
