Became an umpteenth winning stable-switcher for this yard when making all in 14-runner event at Southwell (1m) on Saturday. Stall 11 not ideal but fancied to defy a 6-lb penalty.

Long time without success but knocking at the door when last seen in the summer, not seen to best effect having had to make his challenge quite deep on the track when fourth of 10 at this course (6f) in July. May well encounter similar problems on return from stall 12.

Winner over C&D on final start for Richard Fahey and good third here for this yard last December. Well beaten on turf all 4 starts this season, though, and returns from a 3-month break.

Twice a winner at Chelmsford earlier this year and fared better than previously on turf despite not being seen to best effect when fifth of 11 at Ripon in September. Again shaped better than the bare result at Redcar (7f) since and she's respected returned to all-weather.

Very little promise in qualifying runs but has made a good start to life in handicaps, second of 11 at Southwell (7f) 8 days ago. Remains of interest.

Different proposition around here and ran well to go very close back down in trip when second of 12 at this track (6f) last week, looking unlucky not to win with the run of the race against him. Of interest again back up in trip.

Four-time course winner who confirmed the promise of his belated reappearance and was unlucky not to win given that he was forced into conceding first run when second of 9 over C&D 3 weeks ago. Can reward the perseverance of connections in the coming weeks.

C&D winner in March who possibly needed the run when fifth of 11 here just over 5 weeks ago. Looks up against it.

Got her head back in front in Ffos Las classified (1m) event in July and turned in her best effort of the season when second of 9 over C&D 3 weeks ago, finishing well having been forced wide home turn. Place claims again (last 3 wins have come over 1m).

C&D winner who probably needed the run after 5 months off when eighth of 9 over C&D 3 weeks ago. This should reveal more.

Took a step back in right direction just 3 days on from a lacklustre stable debut when 2 lengths fourth of 10 to Barry The Worm over C&D just over 6 weeks ago. Warrants respect if able to build on that here.

Gained a first win at Wetherby in April and largely in good nick since. Rare below-par effort under a change of tactics at Kempton (1m) last month however, so must bounce back.

Verdict

OPPENHEIMER became an umpteenth winning stable-switcher for this yard at Southwell on Saturday and despite a tricky-looking stall, he's fancied to follow up under a 6-lb penalty at the expense of Sonbelievable, who has made a solid start to life in handicaps. Barry The Worm is a different beast around here, so he's another expected to be in the shake-up.
