ROA Shared Ownership Day Apprentice Handicap

Ended a long losing run in 6-runner handicap at Musselburgh (5f, good to firm) in August and encouragingly was able to back that up when finding only a revitalised rival too strong at Carlisle (5f) earlier this month. Had no luck in the run at Redcar last week and is respected.

All the better for reappearance when landing soft-ground handicap at C&D in April (from 4 lb higher mark). Shaped up quite well without really being seen to maximum effect a couple of times over the summer but seemingly no excuses when down the field at Leicester earlier this month.

Respectable fourth at Windsor on reappearance in May but hasn't built on that in 2 starts since, never better than mid-field on his debut for this yard at Yarmouth last month. First-time tongue strap goes on alongside reapplied cheekpieces.

Back to form when second of 9 in classified event at Thirsk (6f, good) last month and went off too hard at Catterick next time. Not making much of an impression when meeting a bit of trouble back in handicap company at Redcar 2 weeks ago and others make more appeal.

Landed a 5f Beverley seller last May for Ian McInnes and produced his best effort for this yard when fourth of 12 in handicap at Carlisle (5f, good to soft) 15 days ago, nearest finish. On a handy mark if regular slow starts can be rectified.

Winless from 26 starts but she did react well to blinkers when runner-up at Redcar last month (had benefit of good track position). Not in the same form when mid-field there 2 weeks ago and others look more solid on balance.

Hasn't won since September 2024, though produced one of his better recent efforts when third of 8 in handicap at Yarmouth (6f, soft) when last seen back in June. Well positioned there, though, and others might be sharper after a break.

Is 0-23 and didn't shape as if ready to shed her maiden tag when fourth of 6 in handicap at Wolverhampton (5f, 8/1) 29 days ago.
