Sole success came at Yarmouth last spring but held his form well on the whole thereafter in 2025. Offered little on return when eighth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) in July but quickly right back on his game when second at Lingfield 17 days ago. Major claims down slightly in class.
Losing run stretches back to February 2023 but exceeded market expectations back from 10 months off (fitted with cheekpieces) when second at Hamilton a month ago. Was seen to very good effect on that occasion but he still has to be taken seriously at this level.
Off the mark making her second handicap start at Southwell (1m) in October. However, she's gone the wrong way in 4 starts this year. On the plus side, this step back up in trip is what she needs.
Modest maiden for Jack Channon. Might have needed the run for new connections after a 10-month absence when fifth of 9 to River Wharfe in 1m classified event here last month but didn't build on that over the same C&D a week ago.
Modest form at best, keeping on at the one pace when fifth on second handicap start fitted with cheekpieces at Wolverhampton last month (8.5f). Upped in trip and she's one to consider.
A fair 7f winner for Harry Eustace in 2025 who fared better than on return/stable debut when fourth in handicap here (7f) in June. Similar form the last twice in classified company fitted with cheekpieces and now tries this trip for the first time in a long while.
Long-standing maiden who returned to form when fourth of 9 in similar event at Lingfield (1¼m) back in February. Might have needed the run after 6 months off when last of 6 over C&D 4 weeks ago and better expected this time. Cheekpieces off.
Recorded a hat-trick last season (including 2 C&D wins) but has struggled for form this year.
Winless from 10 starts and turned in one of his lesser efforts at Bath 18 days ago. Visor needs to sharpen him up.
Little in the way of worthwhile form.

Forecasts
Makes Me Wonder (3/1), Jenson Benson (9/2), All About George (11/2), Thundering Breeze (15/2), Delevingne Dream (9/1), Twilight Guest (10/1), Sangara (10/1), Maryland Star (11/1), Oh So Audacious (12/1), Quite Sweet (22/1)
MAKES ME WONDER stuck really well to his task when second at Lingfield 17 days ago and eased slightly in class, he possesses very solid claims. Jenson Benson's reappearance was a good one so he's a definite threat, with Thundering Breeze expected to be much more competitive this time.
