C&D winner in April and mostly in good nick since, possibly unsuited by conditions when fifth of 9 at Carlisle (1m, good to soft) 12 days ago. Wide draw tempers enthusiasm.
Won 1m handicap at Lingfield in June and bounced back to form with blinkers back on in place of cheekpieces when second of 11 at Wolverhampton (8.6f) last month. Each-way claims should the headgear be just as effective a second time.
Free-going sort who won a pair of all-weather classified races over the winter (including over C&D). Narrowly landed first handicap success of the year at Doncaster (1m) last month but couldn't manage to back that up returned to class 5 company at Nottingham since.
Doubled his account for the season when winning a match at Yarmouth in June. Struggled to get competitive on both subsequent outings and the handicapper looks in charge for now.
Did about enough to suggest he stayed back up in trip when sixth of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) last month. His consistency has yet to be rewarded with a frame finish in a handicap and others more appealing on balance. Dropped another 2 lb.
Successful twice last year and having struggled for much of this season, stopped the slide from a tumbling mark when second of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (1m, good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago, impressing with how he moved into contention. Drawn wide but one to look out for from this mark.
Returned from 6 months off to finish fourth in an ordinary C&D fillies maiden second time up last spring. Subsequently sold out of the Karl Burke yard for only 2,000 gns and probably needed the run after 17 months off over C&D recently. Plenty more needed now handicapping.
7f winner on debut for Clive Cox but has struggled since switched to handicaps, beating only 2 rivals in 6 starts. Back up in trip but can only be watched.
5-time winner last year and has made the frame on his last 3 starts, not for the first time looking a hard ride when fourth of 7 at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) most recently. Plenty to be positive about here with Loughnane booked, a strong gallop likely and returned to all-weather.
Quirky type (regular slow starter) who bounced back to winning ways over C&D in January. Form has been mixed since, running poorly after 7 weeks off at Pontefract (1m, good to firm) earlier in the month.
Seems to be finding some consistency, placed for a third start running when second of 11 at Lingfield (1m) 11 days ago, finishing well but no match for a lightly-raced improver. Each-way claims again from the same mark.
Fair maiden but no significant impact in 3 handicaps this year, running too badly to blame the 2f longer trip alone at Yarmouth (1¼m, good) back in May. Off since and watching brief advised (has had a breathing operation).
Clearly better than ever at present, recording his fourth success from his last 7 starts in 11-runner event at Windsor (1m, firm) 9 weeks ago. 2 lb nudge far from insurmountable and fancied to be in the shake up having been freshened up.
Free-going sort who had race run to suit when back on the scoreboard over C&D in March. Shaped as if still in form at Lingfield 6 weeks later but yet to win on turf and ran below form when last seen at Lingfield (7.6f, good to soft) in May. Cheekpieces reapplied.

Cases can be made for several, but the vote goes to JUST TYPICAL, who has dipped below his last winning mark and with a strong gallop likely, Ian Williams' 5-y-o can open his account for the campaign reunited with Billy Loughnane. Izzari stopped the slide from a tumbling mark when runner-up at Carlisle last time, so he can provide most resistance, with Aim For The Bull rounding off the shortlist back from a break.
