Last success came in the International Stakes at Ascot in 2024 but typically acquitted himself with plenty of credit in big-field handicaps during 2025. Should come on for his recent return to domestic action at Newmarket 2 weeks ago and he's highly respected kept to 0-95 company.

Useful 3-time 7f winner when trained by James Owen. Wasn't seen to best effect on first run for new yard in Victoria Cup over 7f at Ascot in May but posed no threat when down the field in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at that same C&D 3 weeks ago.

Made all over an extended 7f at Chester on his penultimate start in 2025. Faced a relatively big ask when twelfth of 19 in handicap (25/1) at this C&D (good to firm) on his return 27 days ago. Now only 1 lb above last winning mark.

Smart handicapper for the Crisfords in 2023, successful over 1m prior to an excellent second in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. Missed almost 3 years subsequently but proved he retains some ability on his second start for current yard when ninth of 18 here (1m, good) in May.

Won 3 of his last 4 starts last year and showed his form for the first time in 2026 when making all in a 6-runner handicap at Chepstow (7f, good to firm) 7 days ago. First-time blinkers worn there are retained but this is much tougher under a penalty.

Not the easiest to predict but he put his best foot forward to resume winning ways at Lingfield (1m) in April and ran creditably on 3 of his 4 starts on turf since, just emptying late after racing freely over 1m at Newmarket 3 weeks ago. Now back on last winning mark.

Yet another fine advert for his yard, winning 6 times on all-weather between December and March. Has held his form well from higher marks on turf since, including when being the only one from the centre group to make any sort of impact when runner-up in a 10-runner Newmarket handicap (7f) last week.

Both wins at Kempton, the latter over 7f in November. Failed to come on for his recent return when tenth of 14 in handicap at this course (1m, good to firm) 13 days ago.

Ran some good races without winning in 2025 and was given a considerate return from 7 months off (had breathing operation) when sixth of 14 in handicap at Thirsk (6f) at the end of May. Latest C&D outing can be excused on account of a bad draw and he's capable of making a greater impact this time.

Ended 2025 with back-to-back wins over 7f in the mud at Doncaster and has been in largely good form this season, making the frame for the fourth time when fourth of 19 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 27 days ago. Up 2 lb but can give another good account.

Ended 2025 in a bit of a lull but edged down the weights as a result and was right back to his best on the back of a breathing operation when winning a 20-runner handicap at this C&D (good) 28 days ago by short head from Lir Speciale. Up 3 lb but remains well treated on last year's form.

Benefited from a drop in grade when successful at Southwell in April, enhancing his good record fresh. However, wasn't in the same form back in stronger company at Ascot since and did far too much too soon when last of 12 at Sandown 4 weeks ago.

Form tailed off following 3 victories early last season but, having finally slipped below his latest winning mark, he improved on his recent efforts to win 8-runner handicap at Goodwood (7f, soft) 33 days ago, the reapplication of headgear perhaps the catalyst. Up 2 lb in a better race this time.

Winless since his debut but arrives here in good form, very much bumping into one over C&D last month and shaping best at the weights when filling the same position here 2 weeks ago, just unable to reel in the winner after a slow break. Makes plenty of appeal again with headgear back on.

Successful on handicap debut/reappearance at Newmarket (1m) last season but hasn't built on that promise, albeit perhaps unsurprisingly lacking the requisite stamina upped to 9f at Newmarket when last seen. Returns for new yard (left Hugo Palmer 24,000 gns) after 9 months off.

Ex-Richard Hannon gelding who has been shaping up quite well in defeat for his new yard this season, third of 19 over C&D last month before not enjoying the cleanest of passages when fourth of 8 in handicap at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm, 7/4) 10 days ago. Place claims again.

C&D winner who was much better than the result when fifth in a big-field event here in May and again shaped with plenty of encouragement having met trouble when third of 22 in handicap at this C&D (good) 48 days ago. Should give another good account.
