Foaled February 25. £90,000 yearling, Blackbeard gelding. Half-brother to 2-y-o 1m winner Monte Vista. The market can guide.
€30,000Y, 38,000 2-y-o. Half-brother to useful 1m winner James McHenry and 1m-9f winner Rockbury Lad. Dam, 1½m winner, is a half-sister to smart 5f/6f winner Gutaifan. This Invincible Spirit colt needs considering.
Foaled May 6. €80,000 yearling, Churchill colt. Dam, useful French 7f winner, half-sister to useful 7f/1m winner Ricetta. Noteworthy debutant.
9/2, last of 9 in maiden at Pontefract (6f, good to soft) on debut 12 days ago. A lot more is required.
Foaled January 24. €52,000 foal, £85,000 yearling, Havana Grey colt. Dam, 1¼m winner, half-sister to useful 7f-8.4f winner Lockantanks. One to consider, especially if the betting speaks in his favour.
Minzaal colt. Sent off 10/11 when seventh of 10 in maiden at Newbury (6f, good) on debut 19 days ago, looking green. Clearly thought capable of better.
Foaled March 21. 70,000 gns yearling, Starspangledbanner colt. Half-brother to useful 1m/8.6f winner Unassuming. Noteworthy debutant for yard among the winners.
7/2, thirteenth of 15 in novice at York (6f, good) on debut 20 days ago. Needs to take a big step forward.
Promising Ardad colt who came in second of 12 in maiden at Windsor (6f, good to firm) on debut 11 days ago. Should progress.
50/1 and very green, last of 10 in novice at Ascot (6f, good to firm) on debut 25 days ago. This Showcasing colt can do better in due course.
Foaled April 26. 62,000 gns yearling, 180,000 gns 2-y-o, Havana Grey colt. Half-brother to 6f winner Top Biller. The betting can prove an accurate indicator.
Foaled March 5. 65,000 gns yearling, Dark Angel filly. Dam 6f winner out of winning half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Nahoodh (won Falmouth Stakes). Yard's juveniles going very well so she's an interesting newcomer.

Forecasts
Menhaal (6/5), True Charm (4/1), Lochryan (9/1), Tumishi (11/1), Californian Angel (12/1), Primal (14/1), The Ginger Kid (20/1), Trust Yourself (22/1), Cilician (25/1), La Fuerza (28/1), Le Grand Etoile (28/1), Hadlan (40/1)
Little form to go on so the market should reveal plenty. Hugo Palmer's juveniles are in excellent form so his well-related Dark Angel filly CALIFORNIAN ANGEL is taken to make a winning start at the chief expense of fellow newcomer Primal, who is also bred to be well above average. Menhaal was sent off odds on when seventh on his recent Newbury debut and could emerge as the pick of those with experience with better expected here.
