Low-mileage 4-y-o who ended 2025 with a good fourth of 15 at Leicester but soundly beaten both starts so far in 2026, so bounce back is required.
Plenty of placed efforts in 2025 (including at this track) but not so much of a threat on his more recent outings, though he was entitled to have needed the run after a 4-month break at Lingfield last month. Well drawn with blinkers back on here.
Landed a double here last spring (the latter from 2 lb higher mark) and he wasn't disgraced having been up with the sound pace when fifth of 11 in handicap at Leicester (7f, firm, 9/1) 4 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time. Makes plenty of appeal.
Off the mark at Southwell in February and put a lesser effort aside when doubling tally at Kempton in March. Has remained in good form when making the frame both starts since and he should be in the mix again returned to turf.
Shown next to nothing since joining this yard, including over hurdles.
Winner at Kempton (7f) in October from 2 lb higher mark but has failed to fire this season.
Winner in a Lingfield classified event in January and got back on track after a couple of lesser efforts in handicaps when fourth of 10 in another classified race there (1¼m) 65 days ago. Was runner-up over C&D last season and merits consideration.
Got the job done in a 7-runner classified event at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in March. Followed that with a below-par effort but ran respectably enough when sixth of 8 in handicap at Windsor (1¼m, good to firm, 11/2) 22 days ago. Back down in trip now.
Long-standing maiden who ran best race for some time when runner-up in a classified event at Lingfield in February. Well below that level since though, shaping as if amiss when last seen at Southwell 4 weeks ago.
Quirky sort who won 4 times for Gay Kelleway in early 2025 but largely out of form the rest of that year and yet to show any major resurgence in 3 starts for current yard.
Of little account nowadays. In a change of headgear here (first-time visor).

Forecasts
Havana Mojito (5/2), Joycean Way (9/2), Lady Of The Isles (5/1), Aim For The Bull (7/1), Celtic John (8/1), Celebrating Ethel (9/1), Banksman (12/1), Rovinia (14/1), Unknown Journey (20/1), Weston Court (33/1), Manton Road (33/1)
HAVANA MOJITO saves his best for Brighton and can build on an encouraging effort at Leicester to score from Aim For The Bull and Celtic John, who both have form at the track and arrive after good efforts on all-weather.
