Some good efforts in defeat last season and all the better for his reappearance when third of 12 at Thirsk (7f, good to soft) 11 days ago. That was a Class 3 and he promises to have a big say in this lower grade.
Looks ready to strike again, finishing strongly from too far back when third of 12 at Thirsk in first-time tongue strap (retained) 11 days ago. Might need a bit of luck from an inside draw if ridden in his usual hold-up fashion but he's too well handicapped to ignore.
Winner over 1m at Thirsk (good to soft) last month and another good effort at there when fourth (Rajapour narrowly ahead in third) of 12 (1m again) 11 days ago. Likely to be on the premises assuming his wide draw isn't too big a hindrance.
Back to winning ways when making all at Leicester (7f) in April. Not in the same form when fourth of 5 over 6f there since but this is more his trip.
Winner of 7f maiden at Thirsk (good) last June. Placed in handicaps on her next 2 outings but ended 2025 with a couple of below-par efforts and was eased off on reappearance at Wetherby 31 days ago. Rajapour is the more obvious of the yard's pair.
Without a win since Wolverhampton (8.5f) in January 2025 but has made a positive return to turf this month, finishing second on fast ground at Doncaster (7f) and Redcar (1m; beaten a nose). Same mark today and should go well again.
On a hat-trick after a pair of wins over 8.5f here this month. Shorter trip asks a different question (all 4 course wins over 8.5f) but his record here affords him plenty of respect.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2024. Off since finishing well held on Wetherby hurdle debut in December. Probably best to look elsewhere.
Good second of 10 in handicap (14/1) at Carlisle (7f, soft) 9 days ago, running on. Another to consider.
Pair of 1m Ripon wins last year but failed to build on reappearance when only seventh at Redcar (1m) last week.
Four-time course winner, most recently over 8.5f in April. Respectable third at Thirsk (1m) next time but down the field back behind Coolree here 15 days ago.

Forecasts
Woodstock (3/1), Coolree (4/1), Rajapour (9/2), Harswell Ruby (11/2), Straight A (7/1), This Farh (17/2), Judicature (14/1), Sunny Orange (16/1), Tropez Power (20/1), Thats My Boy Luke (22/1), Yermanthere (28/1), Miss Willows (33/1), In A Hurry (40/1)
RAJAPOUR might need to get the breaks from a draw near the rail but he looks in the form to win again. Similar comments apply to Straight A, who was clear of the rest when narrowly denied at Redcar last week, and he's second choice ahead of Woodstock and the hat-trick seeking 8.5f course specialist Coolree.
- Rajapour9/2
- Straight A7/1
- Woodstock3/1
