Invincible Army filly who opened her account in 7f maiden at Southwell (7f) in January. Better form in defeat since (notably fourth in Group 3 Fred Darling at Newbury) but will need a smart handicap performance to defy this lofty opening mark.
Rapidly progressive, completing an all-weather 5-timer (including 2 over 7f) when comfortably seeing off 13 rivals in a hot 6f handicap at Newcastle on Good Friday. Raised 9 lb but likely even more to come now back on the turf.
Got off the mark at the second attempt in 7f novice at Thirsk last August. Bumped into the promising Nobody Knows at Ayr on final start last season and made an encouraging start to his handicap career when second to Passing Thought on 7f Wetherby reappearance 17 days ago. Capable of better again.
Fetched 500,000 gns prior to making a winning debut over 6f at last year's Dante meeting. That remains his only success but he has posted some useful efforts in defeat, including fourth of 11 in 6f Newmarket handicap 11 days ago. The step up to 7f could suit.
Dual 6f winner on good to soft last year and also good third in a valuable conditions race over C&D in the autumn. Didn't get the chance to show what he could do (hampered) on Pontefract reappearance. Stall 15 isn't ideal.
£500,000 buy who made it fourth time lucky when seeing off 13 rivals in 7f Thirsk maiden (good) 25 days ago. Appeals as one who could go on to better things in handicaps but the draw hasn't been kind to him here.
Won a 6f Newmarket maiden (good to firm) last summer and ended his 2-y-o campaign with a good second in 7f Newcastle nursery in October. Subsequently sold out of Harry Charlton's stable for 90,000 gns. Has been gelded.
Has yet to add to his Pontefract debut success last summer but ended his time with Karl Burke with creditable placed efforts in 7f handicaps last month, latterly third to Passing Thought and Hasbro Market at Wetherby. New connections picked him up for 28,000gns.
Fairly useful form without winning last year. Below par when 9¾ lengths sixth of 14 to Inishbeg in maiden (10/3) at Thirsk (7f, good) on reappearance 25 days ago. Has a handy inside stall but others are still preferred
Showed promise in 3 turf outings last year and put his experience to good use to make a successful reappearance in maiden at Lingfield (7f, polytrack) in March. Sent off 15/8 favourite and presumably failed to handle Epsom when a well-held fifth on handicap debut 15 days ago. Retains potential.
Showed improved form to spring a 40/1 surprise in 7f Wolverhampton novice on reappearance 26 days ago, although there was no fluke about it having come from last in a steadily-run affair. Unexposed handicap newcomer.
Raced at 5f/6f so far, best effort when second in Ripon listed event on good to firm last August. Might have needed the outing when sixth of 7 in Pontefract handicap on reappearance but she'll need to take a big step forward from that now tackling 7f for first time.
Ended 2025 on a roll and has performed with credit in defeat on all 3 outings this year, shaping better than the result after being denied a clear run when third of 9 over 7.5f at Beverley 9 days ago. Likely to give another good account for yard which won this in 2024.
Ended 2025 on the up and has continued in the same vein this season, overcoming a steady pace to land 13-runner handicap at Newmarket (7f) 29 days ago. Good shout nudged up 2 lb for last year's winning stable.

Well-drawn pair THE RESDEV SCHOLAR and Startled take the eye towards the foot of the weights for stables which have won the last 2 runnings of this, with a narrow preference for the former. Hasbro Market and prolific all-weather scorer Al Najashi look open to further progress, while First Legion won at this meeting last year and shapes as if he may benefit from this step up to 7f.
