Capped a consistent run of form when runner-up in a valuable handicap for the grade here (1¼m) last summer and likely to have needed comeback run over 7f at Thirsk 19 days ago. Better expected now.
Expensive maiden to follow but did at least leave an underwhelming reappearance well behind when fourth at Wetherby 11 days ago.
Won 3 in a row by narrow margins last summer, including a career-best performance over C&D under this rider. Excuses next 2 starts and player if ready to go after 7 months off.
Showed ability for Ed Walker but has achieved little in 3 starts for this yard this year (twice over hurdles).
Out of form on the all-weather this winter but on a handy mark on his return to turf (won twice off higher marks on turf last summer). Could be worth chancing.
Son of Ulysses who made a promising start when fourth of 12 at Leicester in July nearest finish. Unable to build on that in 2 runs in the autumn but remains with potential heading into handicaps.
Useful on all-weather at best for Darryll Holland but lost his way and no encouragement starting out for this yard at Kempton in November.
Maiden who is proving expensive to follow though didn't get home over longer trip latest. Mark continues to ease and visor now the choice of headgear.
Finally broke his duck for Alice Haynes at Yarmouth a year ago but has gone with little encouragement for new yard this year.
Tried hurdling over the winter but was persistently headstrong. Low-key start for new yard back on the Flat last month.
Failed to beat a rival on first 3 all-weather starts but returned to form from out of the blue when running out an 80/1 winner at Lingfield in February. Proved that was no fluke when fourth there following month but more needed back on turf.

GREAT BLASKET hadn't been in much form on the all-weather this winter but returns to the turf well handicapped as a result. He could be worth chancing at the main expense of the reappearing Kodi Fire, who took his form to another level when completing the hat-trick over C&D last summer. Narmar did well last season and is expected to leave his comeback behind returned to a suitable trip.
