Novice winner over C&D who progressed again to make it 3 from 3 on all-weather at Wolverhampton in November. Remains of interest going for the 4-timer.

Scored over C&D in July and went close at Goodwood following month. Weak in betting when not in same form there final start.

Progressive since switching to handicaps, completing the hat-trick with a gritty display from the front in a 4-runner affair at Thirsk (1½m, good) in July. Good fourth at Ascot next time before ending season with poor effort there. Type to bounce back.

Made the most of a good opportunity on all-weather debut in Lingfield maiden in November. However, suspect attitude will be tested here off what looks a stiff opening mark.

360,000 gns Lope de Vega colt who won 1¼m novices at Nottingham and Redcar last summer. Excuses switched to handicaps next 2 starts so no surprise if he bounced back on return.

Last 3 successes have come off a BHA mark of 85, including at Sandown in June. Poor effort at Epsom final start and needed comeback run last season.

Initially highly tried after winning his maiden at Lingfield a year ago. Went close on handicap bow at Thirsk but struggled to make an impact after. Off 6 months.

Poor strike rate but pulled clear of the rest when second at Southwell 4 weeks ago. Up 2 lb.

Enhanced his impressive strike rate over the longest trip he's tackled on the Flat at Wolverhampton (2m) in October. Found run of good form coming to a halt back over hurdles final start but can go well fresh.
