Very best efforts have come at this sort of trip and he found combination of well-run race/first-time visor bringing out the best of him when ending a losing run at Wolverhampton last month. Below that level in stronger contest at Chelmsford since but can't be ruled out here.

Course winner who has been cut some slack by the assessor and got back on track when creditable second of 7 in handicap over this trip at Newcastle 15 days ago, racing closer to pace than ideal. Shortlist material.

Found a little improvement when good third of 13 in handicap at Kempton over this trip in October and is worth a second look in the market on tapeta debut for new yard.

Disappointed at Carlisle when last seen 6 months ago but is feasibly treated if revived following a break.

Below form of late, albeit he was unable to land a blow after rearing at stalls at Chelmsford earlier this month. Others more convincing.

Wide-margin winner at Wolverhampton in November but has been more miss than hit since and only looks averagely treated at present.

Had an excellent spell on all-weather this time last year, winning 6 times (twice over C&D). Lightly raced since, but shaped as if working his way back to form here earlier this month. Warrants respect.

Yet to score and addition of headgear failed to have desired effect at Newmarket when last seen in October. Something to prove on return/tapeta debut.

First real form when third in novice at Leicester in October but was too free on handicap debut at Newmarket the following month and no surprise to see headgear reached for.

Thrice-raced maiden who matched debut form, on first start for Raphael Freire, when second of 12 in maiden over this trip at Chelmsford City 13 months ago. Not seen since, however, and likely best watched on handicap bow for new connections. .

Five-time C&D winner, latest last month. Rare below-par effort over longer trip here latest but is very much the type to bounce back.

Tumbled down the weights and ended long losing run when landing 6-runner handicap at Wolverhampton over this trip 8 days ago. 7 lb higher now but must enter calculations.

Forecasts

Sea Suite (9/2), Grabajabba (9/2), Ash Wednesday (5/1), Blazing Son (11/2), Al Muqdad (7/1), King Of York (9/1), Great (11/1), Habrdi (12/1), Too Sweet (14/1), Chesneys Charm (16/1), Thurso (33/1), Stoneywell (80/1)

Verdict

HABRDI was well on top at the finish when returning to winning ways at Wolverhampton last week and remains feasibly treated on old form. He may be able to follow up. Blazing Son and King of York head the list of dangers.
