Found improvement back in calmer waters on all-weather debut, winning 8-runner handicap from less-than-ideal position at Southwell (8.1f) 85 days ago on final start Ed Walker. Since purchased for £32,000 by shrewd ownership group and merits respect on stable debut.

On the up with 2 wins here (including this trip) in the spring but lost form on turf for Simon & Ed Crisford. Step back in right direction when seventh here (9.5f) on stable debut (changed hands for £12,000) and now 2 lb below last wining mark with first-time tongue tie/cheekpieces applied.

Thriving of late, landing an all-weather hat-trick over 1m at Lingfield/Southwell and took another step forward dropped to 7f when second of 6 in handicap at Newcastle 11 days ago. Back up in trip and cannot be discounted in his current form.

C&D winner. Four wins from 18 runs last year. Caught out for a change of gear when respectable third of 6 in handicap (13/8) at Lingfield (7f, AW) 9 days ago. Still on her last winning mark and step back up in trip will suit.

Improved on recent efforts in first-time visor to readily win 7-runner handicap at this C&D last month and best forgiven latest run here when left poorly placed. Still feasibly treated on best of his form.

Shaped well in a pair of all-weather handicap starts over 1m for George Boughey, latterly when chasing home a subsequent winner at Lingfield in October. Yard can do well with new recruits (purchased for £26,000) and he's one to note.

Better than ever when second behind progressive rival on penultimate run over 1m at Southwell. Below form on final start for Charlie Johnston (sold for 13,000 gns in October) but has joined a capable yard and would be interesting if back to his best.

Made a winning reappearance in a 1m Windsor maiden that produced subsequent winners in April prior to a promising handicap debut fourth at Haydock. Disappointed following 2 starts but goes well fresh and is worth noting for support on just his second all-weather start.

She's narrowly preferred to Paladin, who's entitled to be in the mix if back to his best on first start for Kevin Frost, with consistent C&D winner Borgi another to consider in a wide-open handicap. Of the rest, North View looks an interesting stable debutant, while Sea Founder made a successful reappearance last year and is worth noting for support.
