Verdict

This is wide open but BLACK SMOKE should strip fitter for his recent Lingfield eighth after a lay-off and can capitalise on a 2 lb lower mark here to bag a fourth C&D victory. Fellow C&D winner Daaris could emerge as the chief threat on the back of a good Chelmsford third with Fleur de Mer also weighted to go well if back on her A-game. Grand Duchess Olga and Zooks need factoring in too.
