Showed some promise when second at Ayr last year but disappointed on the back of an 11-month absence when fourth of 7 in maiden at Pontefract (16/5) just 16 days ago, racing freely before dropping away. Makes handicap/AW debut and this drop back to 7f may see him in a better light.
Winless since defying a 5 lb higher mark at Kempton in March. Finished sixth of 11 in handicap over C&D (17/2) 12 days ago, not seen to best effect from a wide draw, took strong hold and never on terms. Better showing anticipated in a grade he's more than capable of making a significant impact in.
Won twice over 6f on turf this year before finishing sixth of 12 in handicap at Yarmouth (4/1) 18 days ago, never competitive from poor draw. Consistent performer on the whole and he's not dismissed lightly.
Maiden after 8 starts who got back on track when third of 11 in a handicap at this C&D (10/1) 12 days ago equipped with first-time blinkers. Headgear needs to have desired effect again but definite possibilities if that proves the case.
Three-time course winner including twice over this distance. Fourth of 6 in handicap at Chester (14/1) over 10f on heavy ground 14 days ago, with that trip experiment best overlooked as took strong hold. On a handy mark returned to AW and he's another holding definite claims.
Won at Brighton (7f) back in May but comes here on the back of finishing eighth of 14 at Chester (25/1) 85 days ago, albeit racing wide throughout and never landing a blow. Previous course and distance winner who has gone well after a break before.
Modest hurdles winner. Similar form in trio of novice contests in this sphere and easy to back, finished last of 9 in handicap at Kempton (100/1) 19 days ago, very slowly away and always behind. Drop back in trip far from certain to suit.
Remains a maiden after 14 starts, finishing third of 9 in handicap at Hamilton (7/1) 12 days ago when pressing leader and keeping on until final 1f. Effective at this trip and he's another holding claims from a handy inside berth.
Veteran campaigner who landed back-to-back C&D handicaps last winter. Exploits mixed this year, running well below best when last of 11 over C&D 12 days ago, losing place 3f out and soon beaten. Others rate stronger.

Supreme King (9/4), Thurso (11/4), He's A Gentleman (11/2), Simply Blue (6/1), Arboreous (10/1), Zu Run (10/1), Bambalam (11/1), Wyvern (14/1), Harbour Vision (40/1), Zucayan (125/1)
SUPREME KING hasn't won since March but had excuses on his latest start over C&D and could be ready to capitalise on a steadily easing mark. He's A Gentleman, a three-time course winner including twice at this distance, can put his recent Chester disappointment behind him and is feared along with Archie Watson 3-y-o Arboreous. Thurso is another worth a second look.
