50/1, eighth of 10 in handicap at Chester (12.3f, good) 13 days ago, hampered. Readily passed over.
Creditable fourth of 13 in handicap (14/1) at Salisbury (14.2f, soft) 28 days ago. 1 lb lower here and couldn't rule out.
First run since leaving Kevin Philippart De Foy when good second of 14 in handicap at this course (11.6f, good, 33/1) 22 days ago, sticking to task. Up in trip and can make his presence felt.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, seventh of 8 in handicap (9/1) at Hamilton (13.1f, good). Off 113 days ahead of this yard debut and it's probably best to look elsewhere this time.
Improved on recent efforts to win 12-runner handicap at Bath (11.6f, good to soft, 11/1) 13 days ago, easily. This step back up in trip is unlikely to be an issue and, still on a good mark following a 6 lb rise, he's a strong candidate.
Two wins from 6 runs this year, the latest at Kempton in June. 13/2, respectable fifth of 9 in handicap at Kempton (16f) 20 days ago. Not without each-way hope.
Thrice-raced maiden. 300/1, seventh of 10 in novice at Doncaster (11.9f, good to firm) 84 days ago. Sizeable step forward needed now handicapping.
33/1, last of 11 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 21 days ago. Tongue strap back on and while he's now 4 lb below the mark off which he scored at Kempton in February, his strike rate on turf (1-16) is not particularly compelling.
80/1, first run since leaving Andrew Balding when last of 9 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 49 days ago. Now tried in a visor.
Course winner. Creditable fourth of 12 in handicap at Bath (14f, good to soft, 10/1) 12 days ago. Place possibilities off the same mark.
Course winner. Two wins from 50 Flat runs. 5/2, bit below form second of 7 in handicap at Ffos Las (10f, heavy) 17 days ago, no match for winner. Moving back up in trip here looks a good move and he's an each-way player.

Letmebetheboss (11/4), Corsican Caper (9/2), Taritino (9/2), Cormier (9/2), Roland Garros (15/2), Alpine Stroll (10/1), Buxted Too (16/1), Red Derek (18/1), Tokyo Bay (40/1), Jubilee Party (40/1), Legacy Power (125/1)
The vote goes to ROLAND GARROS, who gave it a good shot from the front on debut for his new yard in an amateur riders' handicap over 11.6f here last time. He remains feasibly treated up 2 lb and promises to be suited by this stiffer test. Taritino has returned to form with creditable efforts at Newbury and Salisbury the last twice, and he could be a bigger threat than recent wide-margin Bath winner Alpine Stroll. Another with possibilities in this competitive handicap is Red Derek.
- Roland Garros15/2
- Taritino9/2
- Alpine Stroll10/1
