C&D winner. Latest win at Epsom in July. 4/1, last of 6 in handicap at Newmarket (10f, good) 24 days ago. Ground slowed than good would be a slight concern.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, seventh of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f, good to firm, 10/1) 60 days ago. Blinkers now refitted and now just 1 lb higher than for his C&D success last September. Unproven on ground slower than good, but his credentials are otherwise strong.
C&D winner. 33/1, thirteenth of 16 in handicap at Lingfield (12f, AW). Off 143 days and she is opposable back on turf.
Thrice-raced maiden. Fourth of 9 in novice at Salisbury (7f, good, 9/4) 25 days ago. Significantly up in trip for this handicap debut and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him take a step forward.
Unreliable sort. C&D winner. Latest win here in May. 33/1, sixth of 9 in handicap at Chester (10.3f, good to firm) 44 days ago. Likely to find one or two too good.
Thrice-raced maiden. Sixth of 7 in maiden at Haydock (10.2f, good to firm, 28/1) 31 days ago. Needs to raise his game now venturing down the handicap route.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, fourth of 6 in maiden (11/2) at Goodwood (9.9f, good to firm) 16 days ago. Good second on previous start/debut for this yard and she will be a threat if handling conditions (untried on ground slower than good).
Visored for 1st time, fifth of 8 in handicap at Haydock (10.4f, good to firm, 9/2) 30 days ago. Now 4 lb lower than when runner-up on his reappearance during the spring and won't be inconvenienced by cut in the ground, so there is cause for optimism.
7/1, fifth of 6 in handicap at Newbury (10f, good to firm) 46 days ago. Ready winner of a soft-ground handicap at Bath last October, which was her sole previous run on ground slower than good, and she's worth considering.
Winner at Bath in April. 5/1, third of 4 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good) 23 days ago. Back up in trip and will need to find some improvement if she's to emerge on top here.
Thrice-raced maiden. 9/2, third of 11 in novice at this course (8.1f, good), running on. Off 91 days. Up in trip for this handicap debut and he's in good hands to progress.

Bobacious (10/3), Asian Journey (7/2), Karthala (9/2), Made U Blush (8/1), Boston Run (8/1), Mighty Quiet (9/1), Finn Russell (9/1), Lone Piper (12/1), Finsceal Luas (12/1), Twilight Safari (22/1), Caramay (28/1), Castro Aurum (33/1)
KARTHALA was well held on the all-weather on his penultimate start, but he shaped well in 1m novice events here either side of that and is of strong interest now faced with a stiffer test on this handicap debut. With the ground likely to be on the slow side, Mighty Quiet enters the reckoning given how well she won on soft at Bath last autumn, while Made U Blush is third choice and Lone Piper, who scored over this C&D last September, is also shortlisted.
- Karthala9/2
- Mighty Quiet9/1
- Made U Blush8/1
