Course winner. Latest win at Wolverhampton in April. Fifth of 6 in handicap (5/2) at Chepstow (1m, good to firm) 38 days ago, weakening when hampered. Others more persuasive.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2024 but was second over this trip at Southwell in May and stamina stretched by 1¼m at York twice since.
Latest win at Thirsk (1m, good ) in April. Mostly creditable efforts in defeat since and this consistent sort should go well again having returned to the mark he defied at Thirsk.
Seventh of 8 in handicap at Chester (1½m, good to firm) 12 days ago. Significantly back down in trip.
Latest win at Yarmouth in June but well below par when fifth of 6 over C&D (good to firm) since. Bounce back needed.
Twenty one runs since last win in 2023. Respectable sixth of 12 in handicap at Ffos Las (7.5f, soft, 11/2) 25 days ago. Blinkers back on.
Yet to make an impact in handicaps, finishing seventh of 9 at Catterick (7f, good to firm, 20/1) 15 days ago.
Latest win at Catterick in April. Creditable fifth of 14 there in June but merely added to his inconsistent record when last of 9 there since.
Went close at Southwell in April and also a creditable fourth of 9 in handicap (11/1) at Chester (7.6f, good to firm) 41 days ago.
Lightly-raced maiden. 10/1, good third of 10 in handicap at Kempton (1m) 15 days ago. Enters calculations.
C&D winner. 4 lb out of weights, good fifth of 9 in handicap at Chester (7.5f, good to firm, 18/1) 41 days ago, not ideally placed. Able to race off her proper mark here.

Forecasts
Jez Bomb (85/40), Golden Pharaoh (7/2), Lockdown Lass (15/2), Autumn Festival (8/1), Diddy Man (10/1), Ratafia (12/1), Flag Of Love (14/1), Reignman (14/1), Jack Daniel (16/1), Lesrico (22/1), Miss Willows (28/1)
JEZ BOMB has a much more solid profile than the majority of these and can return to winning ways having dropped back to the mark he scored from at Thirsk in the spring. Unexposed 4-y-o Reignman made a positive start to his handicap career when third at Kempton a fortnight ago and is second choice ahead of Golden Pharaoh, who should appreciate the return to 1m.
