Aramis Grey²⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 9-11| J: Callum Shepherd| T: Jack Jones| OR: 92| CD

4/1

C&D winner. Twenty runs since last win in 2023, though very nearly a good pot when second of 14 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 24 days ago. Same mark here and he's sure to be sticking on back over 6f.

Age: 6| Weight: 9-8| J: Lewis Edmunds| T: B R Millman| OR: 89| CD

12/1

Form: 11-9737

(7)

Trefor²⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-7| J: K Shoemark| T: C Hills| OR: 88| CD

5/2

C&D winner in June and followed up 19 days later at Newmarket. 15/2, twelfth of 13 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to soft) 27 days ago, not ideally placed and also likely needed the run. Expected to step up markedly on that.

Forecasts

Trefor (5/2), Havanagreattime (7/2), Aramis Grey (4/1), Regal Envoy (8/1), Amazonian Dream (12/1), Lady Dreamer (12/1), Treacherous (14/1), Monsieur Beaulieu (14/1), Coup De Force (18/1), Buccabay (22/1), Baldomero (40/1)

There's an air of untapped potential around TREFOR, whose reappearance defeat can easily be excused and this previous C&D scorer could be to the answer to what is an open handicap. Regal Envoy was as good as ever when successful at Newmarket and a bold follow-up bid returned to 6f looks incoming. Of the remainder, Havanagreattime is also fit and in top form.
