Placed twice over C&D this year, although Portoro was ahead of her on the first occasion. Likely to be in the shake-up again.

Forecasts

Portoro (10/3), Fistral Beach (4/1), Devasboy (9/2), Stoic Syd (8/1), King Of York (17/2), Thanks Dad (9/1), River Wharfe (10/1), American Rose (12/1), Vixey (25/1)

Verdict

PORTORO has had a consistent spell since last spring and this looks a decent opportunity for him to get his head back in front. Fistral Beach is quite closely matched with the selection on C&D form last month and should go well again, while Devasboy is down to a mark he really ought to be competitive from.

  1. Portoro10/3
  2. Fistral Beach4/1
  3. Devasboy9/2
