Underlined his class when winning the Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh in July but underperformed behind Kinross in the Park Stakes subsequently. Not one to write off.
Very smart and likeable stalwart over this distance who showed that he's every bit as good as ever when landing the Park Stakes at Doncaster last time. Ground conditions hold no fears and he's likely to put up a bold showing in his bid to land this again.
Genuine front-runner who added to a fine season when winning 7-runner Prix du Moulin de Longchamp at this course (8f, good to soft) 28 days ago by 1¼ lengths from Charyn, always holding on. Could take some pegging back if he gets loose in front.
Smart gelding. Didn't need to be at best when winning 7-runner Hungerford Stakes at Newbury (7f, good to firm, 4/1) 50 days ago by nose from Witch Hunter, just holding on. Likely to find at least one too good.
Smart horse. 4-time C&D winner. Latest win here in June. 47/1, 5¾ lengths sixth of 8 to Charyn in Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville (8f, good to firm) 56 days ago. Others have achieved more.
Useful horse. C&D winner. Latest win at Dortmund in June. 9¼ lengths ninth of 12 to Al Shabab Storm in Goldene Peitsche at Baden-Baden (6f, soft) 42 days ago. Plenty to find on form.
Smart colt. Course winner. Respectable 1¾ lengths third of 8 to Win For The Money in Woodbine Mile (59/10) at Woodbine (8f, firm) 22 days ago. Hasn't quite looked the force of old this season, so likely to come up short.
Smart colt. C&D winner. 18/10, good 1½ lengths third of 9 to Spycatcher in Prix de Meautry at Deauville (6f, soft) 42 days ago. More required.
Smart colt. 5½ lengths ninth of 11 to Mill Stream in July Cup (7/1) at Newmarket (6f, good) 85 days ago. Hasn't gone on from an excellent return in the Irish Guineas but isn't without hope if his top handler has got him freshened up after a break.
Useful filly. 1 win from 3 runs this year. Latest win at the Curragh in May. 3¼ lengths fourth of 7 to Mqse De Sevigne in Prix Rothschild at Deauville (8f, good, 21/1) 70 days ago. Difficult ask.
Smart filly. 2 wins from 6 runs this year. 33/1, career best when winning 6-runner City of York Stakes at York (7f, good to firm) 43 days ago by 1½ lengths from Vafortino, kept up to work. Highly likeable sort who has a knack for turning up on the big stage.
Useful filly. 12/1, 7 lengths fourteenth of 18 to Bradsell in Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh (5f, good) 21 days ago. Significantly back up in trip.
Useful mare. Course winner. 10/1, 6¼ lengths fourth of 6 to Poet Master in Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh (7f, good) 77 days ago. Uphill task in this company.
Prix du Palais-Royal winner over C&D in May and has remained in form since, not getting a clear run when respectable 2¾ lengths fourth of 9 to Topgear in Prix du Pin at this C&D (good to soft) 21 days ago. Respected.
Useful filly who has come up short since landing a listed contest at Chantilly in May and is likely out of her depth again.
Smart filly. 15/8, creditable 2½ lengths third of 9 to Porta Fortuna in Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot (8f, good to firm), unable to sustain effort. Likeable, consistent sort who should be spot on for this after a break.

Forecasts
Kinross (7/4), Ramatuelle (7/2), Big Rock (7/1), Tribalist (7/1), Poet Master (12/1), Tiber Flow (14/1), Beauvatier (20/1), Kelina (20/1), Exxtra (22/1), River Tiber (22/1), Flora Of Bermuda (25/1), Breege (28/1), Matilda Picotte (33/1), Gregarina (50/1), Ocean Jewel (50/1), King Gold (66/1), Zerostress (150/1), Ribaltagaia (150/1)
KINROSS won this in 2022 and ran a cracker last year so, having confirmed himself as good as ever at Doncaster last time, he just about edges the vote over Ramatuelle, who has been saved for this on the back of an excellent third in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. Tribalist is another obvious player if he can secure the early lead.
