Lightly-raced winner. 2 wins from 5 runs this year. 9/1, respectable second of 9 in handicap at Chester (5.1f, good) 26 days ago, left behind by winner only late on. Eased 1 lb ahead of this and he's one to be interested in returned to all weather.
Kept busy and having been in better form than recent form figures suggest, he duly resumed winning ways in refitted blinkers when landing 7-runner handicap at Windsor (5.1f, good to firm, 9/2) 24 days ago, digging deep. Claims again up 3 lb.
Latest win at York in July. 15/2, eighth of 12 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 3 days ago, awkwardly away and unable to land a blow from the rear. Makes tapeta debut. Type to bounce back.
Made a winning debut at Southwell in December and very much caught the eye when fourth in a C&D handicap in February, finishing with running left after meeting repeated trouble. Well below best on turf debut at Ascot (5f) in May but feasible to think she can bounce back returned to this surface.
Dual all-weather winner upon joining this yard and posted a career best when winning 10-runner handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 28 days ago. Another holding claims upped 3 lb.
3-y-o who doubled his tally when making all at Wolverhampton (5.1f) in June. Finished a respectable second of 9 in handicap at Doncaster (5f, good to firm, 15/2) 19 days ago and whilst this mark demand a little more up in class he's not discounted.
C&D winner. 17/2, respectable fifth of 10 in handicap at Beverley (5f, good) 7 days ago, staying on final 1f from an unpromising position. On a handy mark if he can build on that returned to this venue.
Winner at Ripon (5f) in May who very much caught the eye when fourth in Gosforth Park Cup over C&D in June. Hasn't been in same form in trio of starts since but another who is steadily easing in the weights. Not taken lightly.
C&D winner who posted a career best when doubling her tally for the year in 8-runner handicap (4/1) at Hamilton (5f, good) 40 days ago. Clearly thriving but this asks for more stepping up in class.
Course winner. Seventh of 9 in handicap at Thirsk (5f, good to firm, 12/1) 19 days ago, noted doing best work at the finish. Entitled to be sharper given that was his first start for 10 weeks but all 3 career victories have come at 6f.
Tasted success twice at Yarmouth (5.2f) during 2023 but yet to build on an encouraging reappearance effort in 4 subsequent outings this season, third of 5 in handicap back at Yarmouth 15 days ago. Others stronger despite sliding mark.
Yet to get his head in front for present yard but he again ran well and would likely have pushed winner closer still but for going left under pressure when runner-up at Catterick (5f) on Monday. Visor back on for blinkers and possibilities.
Course winner. 6/1, won 10-runner handicap at Carlisle (5.8f, good to soft) 17 days ago, leading final 1f and well on top finish. Operating from same mark allowing for his rider's claim but this does look tougher.
Career best when winning 13-runner handicap at Thirsk (6f, good to firm, 4/1) 13 days ago, making all and keeping on well. Well positioned then but she remains pretty lightly raced and she's worth a second look from her revised mark.

Forecasts
Castan (9/2), Mattice (5/1), Accrual (6/1), Juicy (8/1), Northern Spirit (9/1), Fidelius (9/1), The Coffee Pod (11/1), Bright (12/1), Macanudo (14/1), Faro De San Juan (16/1), South Parade (22/1), Water Of Leith (25/1), Lady Celia (33/1), Stone Circle (50/1)
Having landed back-to-back novice events already this year, ACCRUAL has continued the good work in handicaps, again finding only one too good at Chester on his latest outing 26 days ago,, and he's very much of interest again for his very good yard. Thirsk scorer South Parade and low-mileage filly Juicy are others to consider. Faro de San Juan and Mattice are just a couple of others to bear in mind.
- Accrual6/1
- South Parade22/1
- Juicy8/1
