Advertise colt who confirmed debut promise after 7 weeks off when winning 8-runner novice at this C&D (good to firm) 3 weeks ago, making all and just kept up to work. Has to carry a penalty, but is still far from the finished article and remains open to improvement.

Kodiac colt who wasn't beaten far but failed to beat a rival in 7-runner maiden at this C&D (good to firm) last month. Will need to leave that effort well behind.

Mehmas colt who showed promise when 3½ lengths sixth of 11 in novice at Newbury (6.5f, good to firm) on debut in June. Went backwards from that at Sandown next time however, so needs to get back on track.

Showed a good bit of ability when third at Yarmouth on debut and improved on that when 3 lengths tenth of 22 to Rashabar in Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm) a month later, nearest finish. With better still to come, he could prove a tough nut to crack back in this company.

Ran to a similar level as on debut when third of 12 in novice at Sandown (5f, good to firm) a couple of months ago. Each-way claims.

Just modest form in a couple of starts this summer, no match for the improving Glitterati in 9-runner maiden at Chepstow (6.1f, good) last month. Has since left Ralph Smith and looks one for handicaps after this.

Left debut form well behind when third of 10 in novice at Newmarket (6f, good) 12 days ago, staying on well when switched final 1f. Looks sure to be in the mix with a repeat.

Has failed to beat a rival on both starts so far. Can only be watched.

War Howl came on plenty from his debut when third at Newmarket recently and he can do battle with newcomers Gallant and Gesundheit for minor honours.
