Some encouragement when third only start in bumpers back in May but well beaten both starts in maiden/novice company since being switched to this sphere. Handicaps will be more his bag in this sphere.

Twice-raced colt. Ninth of 13 in novice at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 15 days ago. More one for handicaps after this.
Masar gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including winner up to 9.5f Jack Berry House. Well held only start for T. J. Kent at Windsor back in April and changed hands for just 1,000 gns since. Passed over.
Twice-raced maiden. 100/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time, sixth of 8 in novice at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm) 23 days ago, racing off the pace and never a threat. May be one for later on/when tackling longer trips.
€220,000 yearling, Bated Breath gelding. Brother to 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Gavota and French/Canadian 6.5f/7f winner Fiduciary, both useful. Worth noting if the market speaks in his favour on debut.
Quality Road gelding who showed more than first time up when sixth of 13 in novice at this course (7f, 200/1) 63 days ago. However, he's another who will be of more interest in handicaps.
500,000 gns Kingman colt who produced his best effort yet equipped with cheekpieces when finishing nose second of 8 in novice at Newmarket (1m) 3 weeks ago. Connections now opt for sterner headgear and he sets a tall standard here. Big shout.
Fair filly. 7/2, creditable fourth of 12 in novice at Goodwood (8f, good) 61 days ago, no extra final 100 yds. Hood goes back on now
Churchill filly who was much improved from debut when second of 9 in maiden at Newcastle (1m) in April. Since changed hands for 36,000 gns and she can do better still.
€90,000 yearling, €450,000 2-y-o, Sioux Nation filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including useful winner up to 7f Manhattan Jungle and 5f/6f winner Raccontero Di Te. Dam 2-y-o 1m winner. Noteworthy newcomer for powerful stable.

Forecasts
Sword (4/11), She's A Warrior (10/3), Ghaihaban (10/1), Radiant Beauty (11/1), Ombrecell (18/1), Masterkey (50/1), Port Road (66/1), Edwardtheninth (150/1), Endeavours (150/1), Emperor Dream (150/1)
SWORD ran to a useful level when going down narrowly in first-time cheekpieces in a Newmarket novice (1m) 3 weeks ago and, with blinkers now enlisted, a repeat will prove more than enough to see him shed the maiden tag. Radiant Beauty and Ghaihaban are others to consider. Market support behind either of the newcomers She's A Warrior and Ombrecell would need to be viewed positively.
