Intello filly. Down the field in Bath novice and Kempton maiden, so can't be fancied.

Night of Thunder filly. Bred in the purple and looked potentially useful as she overcame inexperience to make a winning start in a 8-runner maiden at Newcastle (8f) on debut. Off 97 days since but is open to significant improvement.

Kingman filly. Dam winner up to 1¼m (won Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf, and 2-y-o 7f winner) who stayed 1½m. Much improved from debut when close third of 13 in maiden (3/1) at Yarmouth (7f, good to soft) 16 days ago. Has to be in the mix again.

Frankel filly out of half-sister to high-class St Leger winner Logician. Below expectations when seventh of 8 in minor event at Salisbury (7f, heavy) on debut, Hood applied after 8 months off and no surprise if there's a bigger effort in her now.

Kingman filly. Half-sister to several winners, including smart winner up to 11f Utmost and useful 9f-1½m winner So High. Yard's newcomers have to be respected.

Forecasts

Rainbows Edge (11/8), Inherit (10/3), Supreme Beauty (5/1), Prevail (5/1), Inversion (13/2), Morrophore (11/1), Bernalda (12/1), Absolutely Buzzing (40/1), Poppydora (200/1)

Verdict

RAINBOWS EDGE looked a very smart prospect when scoring under a hands-and-heels ride at Newcastle in March and the King's filly can defy a penalty against some similarly exciting rivals. Inherit showed plenty to like in a hot race at Yarmouth, whilst newcomers Prevail and Morrophore also merit plenty of respect on paper.
